These benchmarks on done on just the PPE (no spes to my knowledge) The cell ppe performs at pretty much 1.8GHZ The biggest reason for this is that its in order execution. Out of order execution it would actually perform like 3.2GHZ. Its the same deal for the 360 cpu since its also in order execution.

Looks about right to me.
These Cell processors are good for a very few limited specific tasks..
They're good when the software knows how and can use it....
i wanna see a comparo with the Wii, LOL.
