@JF , care to comment ?Is server pushed back ?
OBR said some time ago that its REALLY delayed and up to october.
so they release it "when it's done..."
PS: what's up with all those random malware ads in the forum?!?!
Take care anyway, this list is maybe based from a Singapore website who sell Engineer sample ( B1 revision ) of 8100-8130 it seems .. But clock look right.
One other thing i don't understand in this list.. where's the 8130 ?
If the list is correct, this mean AMD have push higher 8120 and 8150 and removed the 8130 ?
It's a pity that Bulldozer is so late...AMD really needs it now, regardless of the initial clock.
The most sensible piece of information i read on the interwebz is pretty simple .Yields suck, and they need to stockpile for launch and be able to adress all they clients (desktop/server/oem).
Are they still using Gate-First?
those 3 of 8core may price too close
lowest model may be my choice because all are black edition
so let me get this straight, they delayed it 3 times this year already....and now they are going to delay it again? i say we un-ban terrance215, because it seems that the guy was right.
They delayed it once. While not admitting that they REALLY did ;-).And that one delay had september as a release date.So thats a month more. However, they suck.
No the guy was a troll and he said Bulldozer will launch in 2012. And remember, the more he posted the more BD's IPC is decreased :D.
Noooo ... I want to rebuild my PC in August, and I want options!
interesting numbers they posted
the lower the cores the higher the base speed (for 95w cpus)
but the turbo is higher the more cores it has, which makes little/no sense from TDP, but more sense when it comes to yields.

You can rename the song to fit this situation: the never ending bull$hit
I can wait, but I sure as hell don't want to.
hahaha... well, it's really gets frustrating to open news that has bulldozer on the title
To tell you the truth,3.6Ghz base clock for 8C sounds a bit high to me.Not saying it's not gonna happen though. Btw,what kind of 4module Turbo will 3.6Ghz 8150 have if 4.2Ghz is Turbo for 1/half of active modules ? There is little to no room in between to squeeze full 8C (integer) turbo .
we will see, still is some time for confirmation (or not) this news. But clocks look promising, interesting looks boost, some model has "only" 200 MHz boost, some next 900 MHz
I'll be sad if this gets pushed back to October
8C -> 8 modules with 16 mini cores, or is it 8 mini cores?
No mini cores,no modules in official specs when it launches.Actually there never were "minicores". 8C means 8 integer cores and 8 128bit FMAC units accompanying those cores. Each core can take up 2 FMAC units so if FP code is not well threaded you can have 4 "double strong " FP threads(4 cores each using 2x128bit FMAC).
