How you like that Asrock board, no issues so far?

No issue so far:D

Really nice ITX system.
I'm just waiting for my A6-3650 to finish rebuilding my HTPC but in uATX form factor. Should be fun to tweak and then enjoy for both movies as well as some gaming :)

I'm looking for such a system like yours. Really nice low consumption by Llano. If only we knew when the unlocked cpus are going to be available..

I have this ASRock board at work and discovered one issue:
It comes without a backplate and there are parts in the area where a backplate would usually sit. Considering that many good coolers require a backplate for installation, this is a problem one should keep in mind.
I'm also wondering how qcmadness installed the cooler, since the AC model seems to rely on a backplate as well.

How's the voltage control in BIOS? and have you tried undervolting the CPU? -- as I'm sure you're aware, Llanos have very liberal vCore applied to them... Ive been lurking around the buy button at newEgg for awhile for this board :)

The options are good, with a range of 0.6V - 2.0V possible.
Considering this is an ITX mainboard, I think ASRock did a great job as there are many options you would expect on a "big" board only.

this CPU HS comes with a backplate itself

Yes, I saw it on the photo.
So you just put the backplate on top of the SMD components on the back.
Possible if you are careful: obviously yes
A good idea: definitely not, especially if you want to use a better (heavier) cooler

because isk-300 is limited in space, i cannot put any cooler which is bigger than 1u

No OC...

@SBB
Who overclocks Llano in a Mini-ITX system? O_o
I'd be undervolting the CPU and reducing power consumption by a large margin.
Very nice build qcmadness
