bad board or just overlooking something
Hey all,
I just got all of my system together, and I can't get it past the initial "setup bios" page. And when I go through and try to set everything to stock settings just so I can load windows, the system goes through this weird reboot, debug sets on 01, and when I do a hard reset, it says the overclocking failed. I don't want to overclock, but it seems this board does it automatically. Also, I noticed that the v_reg led is on. The manual states that is where the issue lies, but no matter what I do, I can't get it to go off.
Question 1: Is there a way to disable the overclocking and boot with stock settings?
Question 2: is there an "idiots guide" to the Asus ROG bios? I have been using eVGA 790i for a few years so I am unsure of what all of the settings are. I know that this will come with time, but I just want to get the thing up and running.
