My 4 Ek 7970 waterblocks should be here tomorrow. That 4X 7970 Quad-Fire set-up will finally "fly" without the airplane sound. :)
Just got my EK block, temperature is amazing 38°c after two hours of BF3 1200/1600 1.2v!
Here a 3d11 run:

PS: receive a little present with the block, thanks a lot EK!
Told ya! :D
My block should be here Thursday or Friday. Can't wait. The stock fan is effective but LOUD when cranked up.
They are available on Performance-pcs right now.
Thanks. I have my 7970 that has shipped tonight but for the GPU blocks: Wow. That was fast...EK is out of stock on their site. No US sites has them apart PPC that is out of stock. FrozenCPU has shown out of stock also since Monday.
@tiborrr: When is the next batch available and should I order from you directly or get one from the US/Canada retailers?
The waterblocks are being produced, assembled and shipped daily. It's a mad house! :D
My order has the status " processing". Placed my order last sunday.. ??
For all you visual types :)

performancepc is showing stock on the nickel versions.
Recieved mine today but waiting on a new angle compression to fit hopefully tommorow. Looks sweet but weighs a ton! :)
Ordered a backplate too as apparantly it has some further cooling potential - glad EK caught on and set the backplates up so that they can be installed without removing the block - used to hate changing the backplates on me 5850's
Block is amazing! At stock volts the card maxes out at 31C running the Heaven benchmark. At 1.3V it peaks at 38C. Thanks EK.
4X Asus 7970 Quad-Fire with EK-FC7970 waterblocks EN-nickel Acetal.

any pics of block for ASUS HD 7970 Direct CU II
yet
@bill_d: Not yet :D
Yo Tibs, don't want to be a pain, but is there any chance in the future that GPU blocks come with pre cut thermal pads?
-PB
once i get my new card ill have to order one up ^_^
Got mine on Tuesday here in the UK, but didn't get round to fitting it yesterday.
Couple of points to note tibbor about the installation guide
A)- All thermal pads supplied were 0.5mm but the documentation referred to using the 1mm strips on the VRM's.
B)- The term Phase regulator is used to described which pads need thermal paste adding to them - but there is no mention of this anywhere else so can get a bit confuzzling!
Otherwise - Great job - I got 28Degrees C Idle and 38Degrees C under 3dmark test max. thats with a very hot room temperature ;)
Glad we can install the backplates without having to remove the block from the card! EK are learning
