Almost done, My first solid GPU tube (sample)
My ALU sample is almost done...

I wanted to make an sample first, so I could look at the tube and think about design modifications and so on...

I think is cute :D

Things to do:
- Design and make mounting plate
- Make hole's in the tube to mount the mounting plate
- 5mm will be cut below
- Making the square more round for easier isolation

the block and final product itself costs me... a bottle of rum :toast:

the best bottle I ever bought.... the guy how's making the tube for me coundn't find a smaller block :D

nice work as already spoken, lets hope it performs well :)

but what a waste of material. a squareblock would do the same design but more cost affective since you won't need to remove as much material, which also means it will be faster machined.

@ Vince, I didn't make it, I wish I could.

It was the only alu the builder could find.
I'm already working on design changes and a new solid cpu pot, mostly designed by an other great dutch overclocker....(Lypo)
I keep you guys updated... but its a slow progress.

I hope this pot performs enough to handle an 8800GT... we will see, the thing was free, so no waist of money anyway, the GT is on his way, lets hope I can do some damage :toast:
