Craaap, now I don't know whether I should go with the Stealth or EK. :(
convex gpu block?
Hmmm...
Comparing the Flow Rate vs Pressure Drop graphs of the "vanilla" and the V2, I can't help but say WOW.
The restriction is now much more reasonable. Looking forward to some thermal resistance data.
You might even make me undo three hours of mounting MC14/21s now that I'm keen on volt modding my 8800 GTX.
I'm in the same boat, just biding my time for something to come out.Quote:

Originally was after the EK blocks, but since it'll be months before Petra's will get them back in stock, the new Stealth sure does look more appealing now.
Did you see the temp comparisons on this page?

I just have.
I was so focused on the graph that I didn't notice the temps in the latter part of gabe's post...
If you already have a properly installed MCW60 and you're not planning on volt modding your card there might be no point on upgrading the block.
However, if like myself you feel tempted by the soldering iron and you foresee that unless some ghastly incident happens the card is going to stay in your rig for another year or so IMHO is well worth it.
Wow, Stealth v.1 = 5.5mH2o @ 1.5 GPM
Stealth v.2 = 1.1mH2o @ 1.5 GPM
That is quite impressive.
:cheer:
whats going to be the MSRP on these rev2s ?
Is the preferred method still the two T connectors?
I wonder if there will be a similar revision to the MCW60?
look, we have never done this before, I mean releasing a revision that early behind the original release.. and I feel pretty bad about it.
So we are going to do this: We'll give $40 off the purchase of Rev2 for anyone who owns the original. This is a factory direct deal. Just turn in your original invoice to michelle, and we'll ship you the Rev 2. As usual, this offer is valid for 30 days effective ship date of Rev 2 on July 23.
hmm, this is something we should certainly consider. But it's more complicated. The top is injection moulded, which will require either a revision or a new mold.
right now, were completely focused on the new line of products coming up at the end of month. so were' pretty busy.
But I agree that we should put this on the agenda.
:cheer: :cheer:
Pictures? ^^
I want to see a full coverage block for the R600 still...
I actually think Swiftech have the most customer focused business model out there! I love it, look forward to seeing some R600 blocks :), but get this out the door first and then use what you learnt to make that for me :D
