Latest JMicron driver version is JMB36X_WinDrv_R1.17.42.06.
ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb36x/Win2k_xp_Vista/
The JMicron chip controls only the eSATA ports and the IDE port.
Can be disabled in bios setup, if not being used.
Anyone here has Q9450. If someone does what are all of the bios settings you have used. :)
Thanks
I just installed Vista 32 on my IP35-pro, but I have no sound. (work perfect under XP).
I installed and re-installed Realtek hight definition audio driver (r194), nothing!
Is someone already have this problem??
For 24/7 operation, I have all the voltages on auto except memory, so I don't if that helps, but anyways these are my settings
FSB - 400MHz
vlotages:
memory - 2.00
core - 1.25
VTT - 1.05
MCH - 1.25 (says auto in the bios)
ICH - 1.50
ICHIO - 1.05

GTLRef 1 & 3 67%

Sorry if this was asked several times before, but I made a search of the thread and couldn't find nothing. I have a Q6600, and would like to know from the experts, what is the best BIOS for me?. I have now the official 14 version, maybe an update will improve my system?
Thanks!
what is wrong or does no suit you with the 14 bios?
The general consensus is that v.14 works best with 65nm CPUs. Later versions seem to be coded simply to address 45nm compatibility. I see no reason to update with a Q6600.
Well, even me flashed to B16 some time ago, and decided to go back to B14, just because it reports the volts right on CPU-Z. But now I got a 4870X2, and don't know if another BIOS (newer) would give me an extra boost. My first guess should be that doesn't have any benefit (for the video card), but I'm just asking if somebody knows something more concrete about it.
Hello everyone!
What do you think about this:
I have 1.53V on my E6750 everyday on Abit PRO of course. It is cooled by TT Big Typ. Will my CPU burn?
Anyone?
Temps? Stock fan?
I would like to report that BIOS 17 B05 works like a charm. The volts are reported right by CPU-Z and even had a gain in 3D (is a little more smooth). Is no placebo effect, since I made tests before and after flashing. I will be doing further testing in the next days, but for now, is a keeper.

During IntelBurnTest: 77C; during Orthos:68C; idle:45C.
1.53 it's a lot of voltage for daily use (my 2cents)
Flash from the past.
For a long time now I have been having a recurring problem with my PC (specs in signature).
When ever I turn my PC off I can't start it up again. The fans spin loud with no video feed to the monitor, and I get the C1 error code. I usually get the PC to boot by playing with the power switch, restart switch, or the PSU power switch. It is 99% stable to my knowledge as I have ran WCG, Prime, and OCCT. This happens every time I try to start the PC. I'm just afraid that I might not be able to start my PC one day when I really need it. :(
I searched for a solution in this thread but could not find one. (Maybe I didn't use the right search terms.) Sorry if this has already been discussed. :(
generally that is a memory problem...a couple of things you can try is to raise your Vdimm and/or loosen you memory timings.
if that does not work, also raise your vcore, ICHIO and MCH.
why don't you post your set voltages.
i do see that you have four sticks of memory...overclocking becomes more difficult in that configuration...generally the cure is to at least raise Vdimm, ICHIO and MCH....do it in small increments to see if that solves the problem.
i will be gone for a week so someone else can give you a helping hand to help you solve this little problem-O;)
Is the 17_B05 the official one on the Abit site dated 26/05/2008? Seems there's a beta B04 22/05/2008, or is this one M629B_17.ZZZ 25/06/2008 B05?
Thanks for the response. :)
I bumped the up the volts for the ICHIO and MCH one notch.
vCore Set in BIOS - 1.48, but drops to 1.43/1.44 stable
vdimm Set in BIOS - 2.225 Memory at 500mhz cas5
ICHIO - 1.70
MCH - 1.52
EDIT: The problem still occurs. I will try to relax the memory timings.
Is anyone using this board with an E8600, and with what BIOS?
OK have my first problem with this board in about a year.
Updated vista and rebooted. Well after the reboot my four gigs of ram which is still scene in bios and in vista in everything but task manager which shows that I am running off of 256mb ram. It is running off of 256 also as the vista log on is really slow and all that.
I tried switching around ram, different types of ram, resetting cmos, and everything I can think of to get it to work but it only uses 256mb now. I am guessing my memory controller or something is toast just wanted to ask before it gets replaced.
Thanks
It has some major issues.
