update to the post #77
We have more AMD CPU models and new one weak score with old one K8 :). I hope guys as Stilt will show some crazy scores with the best chips and hope for more APUs or Phenoms II x4 or maybe older FX "Bulldozer" 81xx.
I'm still working with this 9370...
Not much of an improvement, but I haven't given up yet! :D

nice Dave :). You are now better with 9370. Unfortunately I have not time now for benchmarking :(. Or I have, but Im lazy (i must switiching PSU, SSD, GPU, RAM between Haswell and FX)
Nice run Dave, you'll find you can get higher clocks with less volts on that chip.
@ FlanKer There's always time for fun you'l just have to make up for it later. I wouldn't tear everything down for that either. I've been playing with PCM05 lately what a b**ch of a bench that one is. Very tweakable once you finally get it to run.
Worst. mount. ever.

That SPD...
At least you got some nice frosty pics! ;)
nice loud silence, first man here with LN2 R15 score :).
^thanks guys, can not believe the noises I heard from the Venom with this poor mount, I can only imagine the cracking under load is similar to benching GTX 580 under cold and I want no part of that:p: Any more than 1.68v was a no go, the screen would go black and then "s d" would appear on the post code reader.
I will revisit with a proper mount as this same cpu has run 6900 R11.5 on an MSI board (and lived) so it should be able to do so much more on the CHV Z.
Great run either way  You'll find this bench is a bit harder on the CPU than 11.5 is.
Il try this with my 9370 too, LN2. Around 22.11. at OC show :)
I can run (in ~10 days)on my 2x2419. Have to dig out spare HDD.
small update with moar

nice score!
you cna try few combination with higher HT link for higher score :) FX has no problem with 3200 MHz at air, so with LN2...
I just put the 8350 back into the main rig. Have a new rad set-up to take advantage of the winter chill and managed this http://hwbot.org/submission/2456270_ Scored 887 @ 5533MHz
1.8V? Wow....A bit risk for good score :)
This chip is really leaky, that's why I call it my little piggy. The water was also around -7c, have my rad outside now and colder weather is coming. I also got a 9.68 in cine R11.5 at almost 5.6G
Like they say if you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much space. Ha ha ha
Here's a link to some pics. Only difference is the rad is actually outside hanging off that window sill. http://www.overclockers.com/forums/s...&postcount=859
Ok, after longer time I was traveling to my parents and tested light Cinebenchs at 2 home PCs...
A8-5600K at 4000 MHz with BOX cooler and 1600 MHz cl9 RAMs

After I tried old good "gold" Phenom II 1090T, not at max, but with decent 1.475V, 4094 MHz CPUNB 24xxMHz

You do have to be nice to other peoples stuff, a shame I know but you can't break it.
Nice runs, if that 1090 had 2 more cores it would definately give the FX a run for it's money.
Nice topic, here it goes using 16GB LP Ram

is it good?
