Tsai's pot just sitting on top of the Dom Plats, naked and uninsulated, hence why just a quickie run to test these out, will put some more time in it as it feels about a half second off.

First shot on new mems, need to improve efficiency and lower RTL.

So its been 6 weeks without Ln2,finally received some ln2 today, testing a new 4790K was quite hard to dial this chip in,is so different to any 4770ks Ive tested
Did finally get a pass but was loosing a efficiency towards the end of the session, board seemed to get quite cold on in this session so im guessing some moisture somewhere.
Had a couple faster runs a little earlier that should have just cracked the 54.9xx,will keep trying

Don't know if that's the correct thread.
Also don't know how is my efficiency with this G3258, since there are not many 4GHz runs out there.
Screenshot lacks AIDA numbers, so it does not qualify, thus not writing the info in the correct format too.
All air, 1.92V for the mems - G.Skill 2000C9 Tridents, PSC-X.

Awesome runs Bully, glad to see the 125 strap working out for you as well.
The humidity down under looks intense right about now!
Don't think I have ever seen your rig so wet/frosted especially not the SATA ports or PCH heat sink :D

here's one to compare:

Thanks, loud
I can't run that tight and it seems I'm 1 second behind.
Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore since it seems my new cpu can't run 2666 and 2600 with PSC even with slack secondaries and tertiaries.
It's either the board or the IMC. I can't even run CAS 7 at 2400, while that's way too easy on Z77 + 3770K with these sticks :(
Wish I had any other brand board to try...
Thanks loud, yeah I've never had it frozen that much before,I say you are correct
So this has been my main pi drive for the last year or so, guess it's time to test all my mechanical drives.

Maybe this is why I'm so slow :p:
I use 10 year old sata 1 Seagate in my haswell test rig with lots of bad sectors and I don?t bother :D
Not really, you normally try to avoid that hdd is involved in 32M, I also don?t use ram disk if I bench on time, which I didn?t on Haswell anyway
CW is much faster using SSD than HDD. So if you do it like 100 times per month and save 5 mins each time, it amounts to ~8 hrs of extra free time that you can use :D :D
Performance and stability-wise I see no difference at all having recently switched from HDDs to SSDs.
