Okay while I know it has to be less expensive than the DD, which do you think is more for the money??

If you don't care about mounting the rads to the bench, I would opt for the Sunbeam tech bench.
While I like the Torture Rack, it still feels a little flimsy. Granted I have two 480 radiators mounted on the sides but there is only 1 screw holding one of the sides together. Danger Den should have redesigned it so that it could hold 2 or 3 screws.

Here is one old pic from the raer: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=197
ugly as hell but it works and its really not ment to be displayed anyway..
Hi!
It's been an year since i assembled my kit (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=246368) and now i have to change the loop to put a 5970 with WC block (Danger Den) on it.

The question is, can i mount the CPU block upside down? This would help me a lot with tubing management...
All http://www.swiftnets.com/products/APOGEE-XT.asp says is that the side (both sides has 3 screws) with 3 screws must be parallel to CPU locking lever...
Thank you!
Something very old.......... :)

@McBacker - Nice setup very clean looking. I'm curious about the cage over you memory though, is it some sort of EMF protection? If so have you noticed any difference with/without it?
I've been curious about playing around with that sort of thing but never found the time, some components can put out a fair bit of EMF noise (eg high current switched circuits, PSU, etc) so I figured it might give you a bit of extra head room on the overclocks if you could block out the main sources.
it's a memory cooler from OCZ

Ever consider painting or polishing the interior? It would look uber pimp if done.
Midplate and moboplate are polished, tough the dust has left his mark ^^, bays are just "brushed".

This is the second Sunbeam I've seen and may just have to get me one!! It is very close to something I had "mentally" ( :ROTF:) sketched out....
Nice set up there!!
Snap on the GPU! Though I'll be popping an EK block on mine, that's a great idea using green fluid to of-set the PCB colour looks really sharp... well, as sharp as green PCB's can look anyway :p
Looks good :)
