Dean have you guys done any testing with a back plates for the vreg's? like aqua blocks... i know my evga came with one too, I have the koolance block waiting for me at UPS but they arnt open on the weekend so i cant install it yet. i also have a evga back plate coming to see if it will fit with the water block installed,
I was just wondering about something, does the EK GTX 295 block come with the 5mm Leds included? :)
lol. Figures. few days after I order one straight from slovenia, ppc's has it =)
Pretty sure it doesn't. It clearly says prepared for leds...
You can get dual headed 5mm LEDs ... this pic shows the Bitspower and the Feser versions. Feser is in the center, shorter cable length than the BPs.

n00bs. Make your own. I just bought a bunch of uber kewl color-changing LEDS. They need NO controller as they just change from one color to another and blink here and there. Just need to solder a resistor inline with each one and hook to teh 5 volt line on the PSU.
The aqua computer one looks very nice, defiantly what I had expected from them. One thing I could see going with there style is some sort of plate to fill the hole where the fan was. This could also say made in Germany or the cards model number ect. I just think it might accent the look more
Why the f*ck did PPC raise on the EK GTX 295 blocks?
Suppose they're startin to run a little bit short on them, but I dunno.
With stuff for 800 bucks to order, I cant really afford that "dramatic" changes in the price range for the blocks.
Hope the prices wil drop soon. :(
Which is the best option for a noob to WC? I was thinking Koolance is probably the most user-friendly.
Also, when it comes to Nozzles; which is best?

this where ull find some info on fittings. BP (bit power) are the best in my opinion.
here is my work in progress
My results with the Koolance block for GTX 295:
Overclock: GPU 752MHz, Shaders 1521Mhz, Memory 1300MHz
Temps: 40C Idle, 48C at load 4 hours of Furmark, no artifacts.
Voltage: Bump to 1113mV using Evga voltage tuner for GPU stability. I don't think shaders works well with voltage bumps.
I haven't done any benches. This is with 120.3 and 160.1 rads, and an E8400 in the loop.
