Excellent. I am a DJ on the side and have gel sheets for my Par cans so I can stripe the color easy enough. Just think that is one of the best mac mods I have seen and yet so understated.

Word! Such a simple mod, but so awesome at the same time. I absolutely love it :)Quote:

I guess I'm not the only one that thought the demise of the coloured logo was a mistake ;)Quote:

MBP, Dell 24inch, Mac Mini with modded internal harddrive to external..
on the bottom is AMD opteron 165 gaming machine... which I don't use.
I basically turn it on once a day to play CS for an hour.
It's going up on the ebay soon.....
Nice cool setup! Is the mini faster with the external HD?
wouldn't it matter what speed the hdd is? ;)
some people run them with raptor x o.O
it's running at 7200rpm, and yes, they are faster than internal harddrive.
And the speed difference is noticeable.
Thanks
any point in raptor x over the 150gb raptor?
other than the uber cool window?
I am planning on upgrading hard drive to raptor, and CPU with Merom this winter. I hate to see it becoming faster than my macbook pro. But I think it will be worth the upgrade...
Nice setup there.
@maniawire
how does your Mini handle the 24inch dell. Are the graphics in the mini capable of handling the 1920x1200 res well. Im planning on getting one for my dell 24" but im worried if its up to it. I'll be using it mainly for graphics work.
