Interesting, you removed the mid-plate?

awesome
TJ-07 really looks awesome, especially with powdercoated black interior and a big rad in the bottom section!
I've skulked around this thread many times. coveting these TJ07 based rigs. Very pleased to finally be able to post my own here. Not exactly a show piece, but apart from the DOA GPU I encoutered, it was an easy build. It's powered by an i7 920 running at 4.0 GHz 24/7 and SLI GTX 260 C216s and has a 360mm rad below with a 240mm up top.
Nice work. These 07's really are elegant..
Very Nice...but no clamps
I have them where they're needed (seven in total in there)- wherever there's torque on the fitting. Today I added another clamp to the bottom fitting on the res- you can tell by the pic that it needed it. I find that if the fittings and the tubing are decent, they're often not necessary. I ran my last build for 2 years with only two clamps and it never leaked.
Guys, it's his build, if he wants to run the risk let him....at the same time, he should also know the we reserve the right to say "we told you so" should he ever post a "my tubing popped off and fried my stuff" topic. ;)
@ Babrbarossa
what toobing is that? it looks fooking ace! :D
liking those waterblocks!
thanks!
Thanks- It's feser one uv tubing
Alimonte- is that an actual murderbox build, or just using their mod parts? Beautiful rig (and nice outdoor, sunsetty pics)
EDIT- I see a mention of worklog by shazza- beautiful work- I wish I had the patience for cable sleeving.
I said it in your work log, but it bears repeating - I love what you've done with this build. In particular, you've done a great job with your loop layout and the tubing flows very nicely.:up::up:
Thanks Babrbarossa !!!
Its right here ...

Well Im using Murder Mod parts !! the same ones that are used for MM build by Charles and Nils ...
I found this site while pondering a WC setup using a TJ07.
I must say y'alls rigs are something to behold.
@theseeker...are those wheels you have on your rig for a LL V1xxx series? If so, did you have to drill & tap any holes?
If a guy was just going to cool his GPU & CPU, would a single 120x3 mounted in the lower chamber be sufficient?
Thanks!
Hi Froze,
Loving your pics mate. Would you be able to post some pics of the cuts you made to the motherboard tray? I'm buying the same motherboard next week when I build my system and I wouldn’t mind seeing the holes I'll need to cut. I want to try and keep the cuts as universal as I can so it can accommodate different boards in the future.
Cheers mate,
RoEy
Froze....What coolant is that?
Temjin.nnnn.nnnnnn.nnnnnn a perfect
I'm going to cut my motherboard tray for atx 24 and I'm not sure if I should cut upto standard atx size or an inch more as I'm getting the ASUS Rampage 2 Extreme. I wouldnt want hole to show if I were to get a standard ATX board in the future yet I don't want the atx 24 cable to travel to far under board.
Can someone give me some advice please? Tried asking FRoze as I'll have same setup as him but he hasn't replied and I need to cut my board by the end of the week ready for my bits coming.
Really hope someone can help?
RoEy
