Thanks for confirming :)
I'm with you, I too think it is a bios issue.
Did some testing with my second chip which maxes out at 53X. 1088 @ 47x, 1083 @ 52x and 1070 @53x all tested at 7-10-8-27. DDR 1.6v.Tried 1088 at 53x but SPI had errors. Just posted for those inquiring minds.
The Gskill ECO 1600 7-8-7-24 kit runs the same at 1.65

however I just bought the same set that runmc has and they just arrived:up:
yup exactly right on the newegg sale:up:
I figured I had all hyper ic based sticks of dram and none of them seem to play well with my P8P67 Pro so it was a logical time to upgrade.
plus compared to what I payed for 12GB of SuperTalent 2000c7, the Gskill ram seems like a steal
How come memtest86 and in windows doesn't show what setting I've set into the bios. If I try XMP profile everything load fine into the bios (6-8-6-24) but show (8-8-9-24) in windows or memtest86. I've try many different setting but always load wrong ???
thx a lot man. i now have my ripjaws at 1866MHz with 1.5v. this was realy helpfull. thx again!
Run them at 2133!
These sticks are indeed awesome  Mine do 8-10-8-25 1T @ 1.65v. I never tried shooting for CL7 as I couldn't be arsed at the time.
They should make an 8GB version of this kit.
@ LagunaX
i tried at 2133MHz but i saw no gain in games. so i have them now at 1866Mhz.
thx again
I need to try these timings and speeds! This thread is the reason I bought this kit... thanks for the info!
My results with the 6-8-6 kit

I tried pushing it to 7-10-7-26-1T and I got lower scores lol!

Whats a good way to stress test the RAM's? ( that wont degrade the processor along the way )
I've tried running it at 1.500v 7-10-7-26-1T 2133Mhz and it completes Hyper PI 0.99b 32M and 1M tests w/o issues, so im guessing its stable?
I like http://hcidesign.com/memtest/ - only stresses RAM and is very prone to pick up instability and might do it in a sec or two even if it appears to be stable for normal use.
memtest86 or ocz memtest86 are also good but you have to create a boot disk and it runs in a dos format outside of windows
Why your copying speed is so poor? Newer version gives that much different result? Here is my result @ 7-10-7-27 1T 2133MHz, totally stable.

Yeah the newer version is adjusted properly so scores are lower overall due to the updated version of AIDA64.
Yeah there seems to be a score difference between the older and newer version.
G.Skills are great overclockers even the low brand are nice, a lot of people buy the cheap ones and over clock them all the time.
Seems like im stable at 7-10-7-27-1T @ 1.500 vDIMM :D
EDIT:
Odd AIDA64 and HWinfo32 detects my vDIMM at 1.656.. I'll double check later as Im sure I've manually set it to 1.500v
EDIT2:
After a few blending sessions its not really stabe at 1.500v next step 1.600v
-wrong thread-
7-10-70 27 @ 1.5800v seems to be my stable point.
Sorry to drag up a nearly dead topic...but I just received a set of this RAM and I'm really struggling with them. They post and run perfect at DDR3 1600 6-8-6-24 1T @ 1.5v, but will not run anything over that. 1866 and 2133 result in a 221 BSOD before Windows loads. I've tried 1.5-1.65v and they all result in the same outcome.
I am on a Gigabyte UD4 B3 with F3D BIOS if that helps. Thanks!
