GSKILL PERFECT STORM DDR3 Triple channel 2000 CL7-8-7-20
-
Looks really good :)
I wish G.Skill would send me a kit as well, but they didnt.
-
That looks nice, I just noticed that this was on newegg today. It is listed with 9-9-9-24 timings, but I believe g skill only makes this in 7-8-7-20

Same Elpida chip, different binning. The 9-9-9.... is what you get. It's a different product number.

Oh, I see. Is the better timing version out anywhere?
-
memoryc said they should get stock next few weeks. Seems there all starting to finally release these infamous elpida IC's within the next few weeks. Ocz blade series won't be far behind nore will adata. We'll soon be spoilt for choice :D
-
anyone know the difference between the elpidia standard IC's and hiper IC's? is it just binning or is there something more
-
Nice thread. Wish G.Skill would send me a set of these too as theere is no way I will be ably to afford this until the price droooops. I do like the RAM cooler alot!
EDIT: The CAS 9 versions are out of stock already at the egg. They went fast. I just can't justify paying 300 bones for CAS 9 RAM. Prices need to come on down some more!

Giorgio is right.
The 1600 are more than likely using the Elpida BABG chips that do... "MNH-E Hyper"-ish up to DDR3-1700 to DDR3-1800 ( depending on your luck ) at 7-8-7-20 @ 1.65V to 1.8V
-
@giorgioprimo , @BenchZowner : thanks.....:):) mine come to my house this weeks 2 pair ....F3-16000CL9T 6GBPS I hope lucky now.......:D:D
-
Very nice memory, Gskill exposed them to Cebit :)
-
I am jealous. But I had to get me a set of Gskill 12800 Pi Black lately... Samsung HCF0 IMHO. Goes great, but if there'd been any Elpida-based low latency stuff around, I'd probably got that stuff instead.
-
really fantastic chip, elpida is very nice my friend
-
:clap::clap: crazy active chips guys,wait for your 32m ;)
they are Hyper for sure
-
So with Elpida that seems to scale after voltage increase, how long until we see some "stickmeasurement" so to speak here on XS? ;)
Time to start showing us insane DDR3 clocks with Ln2 cooling and such:ROTF:
-
these stick are beast 2200mhz @ 7-8-7-20
-
seems can't see the screenies at all ? GTs do the same DDR3-2209Mhz 7-8-7-20 32M PI

Staring at your avatar, maybe they're afraid :shocked:
Very nice binned ELP chips - @Leghorn and great resuts with them, at only 1.82V :up:

Perfect sticks! Nice job, GSkill :up:
