Why´s the CPU-z code always hidden in screenshots like these :(
yeah, Dothan on LN2@ 15 x 200 = 3000 would do some DAMAGE....
C
Indeed it would.. Are anyone coming closer to that Aopen board?
Yeah,
15x200 1:1 2-2-2-6 would be a killer setup :D Maybe 25sek in Super Pi..?

Some how I really don't think that this will happen. Notice how we aren't getting these boards until now. So far their only in notebooks. Anyone see what I'm thinking? Intel would know if they were sitting on a gold mine. And their sending these out in desktop form. I know they want the Prescott....but this would make so much more sense...something about this chip can't be all that great and they don't want everyone to see it.
EDIT: Or they don't make many.
I have a 1.5GHz Dothan in my laptop. Maybe I should try to get a compatible motherboard... just for giggles. :)
yeah go for it! If you do let us know about your luck. We need more P-m overclocking reviews! Then we could get a better idea about overclocking these things and if its worth it.
As soon as I get a desktop board I will be gunning for 2K1
Who do I have to shmooze up to around here to get an AOpen board sent to the US?
I'm not sure....PM Saaya he'd probly know
You going to try the 2.0GHz Dothan? I'm waiting for them to come down in price and then I'm going to upgrade my notebook. I'm really interested in what these will do in a desktop environment since my 1.5GHz notebook crunches like a 2.2GHz AMD A64. ;)Quote:

Seems like this would be a great little combo for an office desktop (nice small profile), and when some smartass comes by your office and mocks it, "Oh, how cute," you ask him, "wanna run some benches?"
Oh, and I've already found my mini-itx case:

But where do you put the Vapo hole? :D
Too bad the Aopen won't fit in there.Quote:

vapo hole....good question....on top above the processor...:D

Not too shaby
They didn't list what motherboard they used :(
Do these boards have pci/agp locks??
I think so .
I saw the AOpen up fo 190fsb and thus the pci freq would be @ 62Mhz (pci @ 125Mhz) there has to be a fix.
VIAKT266a/KT333/KT400 all make 190fsb+ ok..
I want to see 200fsb+ scores.
Good thing my dad is going to japan soon. If he likes to i bet i could make him fill a suitcase with those mobos... If any europeans are interested, preferably scandinavians.
someone must try dothan with supercooling.. the chip is doing 2644Mhz @ Air!!! :D
you just have to look closer :DQuote:

I'd say these chips are the real deal.
now if only I could get my hands on one of these...
I'd have it under dry ice the day I got it.
I must be drunk or just in the need of a pair of glasses http://www.kontakt.de/chat/chatserve...es/glasses.gif
Allthough some hacker wrote verified all over your screenshot :D
