Driver/hardware help

Hey guys,

bit of a noob here.

not sure if I'm in the right section or not, i have an external CD player which plugs in via usb and obviously installs drivers to work on the operating system and read as a CD drive.

is there anyway that i can mod this to instead of reading as a cd player and installing drivers can i make it read as a USB mass storage? the device im needing to plug it into does not allow drivers to be installed but does allow mass storage devices to be played.

is this even possible?

not possible without modifying the fw.
