Probably the most Speed Binned chips they can find.. but given the odds it is just CE-5...
i didn't think ce-5 did 2-2-2 all that often?
At 200mhz, I'd be willing to guess most ddr500 kits would do those timings.
the two sets of infineon/aeneon CE i have disagrees. 2-3-2 isn't remotely close to stable. 2-3-1 is though.Quote:

Actually there is a chance but I highly doubt it..
But it wasn't uncommon for Micron -D to hit that @ DDR-400 speeds..

And it couldn't be UCCC because they really don't like Tight..
And getting 2-2-2-7 on my Micron -F isn't going to happen in my lifetime..
So it most probably is CE-5

This Kingston are with new Infineon BGA ICs, they clock not really well. ;)

someone at kingston is being sneeky it seems. Put out a bunch of mems rated to 2-2-2-5 ddr400 and the overclockers will snatch them up, despite they will ONLY run at ddr400 really. Oh well, ddr2 is nearly the new standard (roll on 23rd).
This module sounds good ,but it's too late
Hmm I still think my BH-5 runs do better (even with games) at 260 2-2-2-5 1T. The lower size is compensated by the speed and timings. Because the best improvement I've seen by having 2gb in games is around a 5%, and 260 vs 200 is a 30% :D
I know it's oranges vs. apples, but overall I'm pretty sure my comp runs better with what I have.
nah. your gonna want 2GB trust me. Most decent 2GB kits can do 250FSB with loose timmings, UCCC.:)
hm those nice corsair pc3500 2-3-2-6-1T still look nicer to me :slobber:
and I guess they can go higher at cas3.

Speed vs capacaity doesn't really correlate. You can have all the speed in the world on a 2x512MB kit but if you run out of capacity to store data it will start disk thrashing, and you can't overclock your HDD :p:Quote:
