Yonah Motherboards

I'm trying to compile a list of whats out there in the making. Maybe we can use this thread for reference. So far this is what I have seen (thanks to my friend in Taiwan for help).

I'm pretty sure MSI are rumoured to be in aswell but not much seems to be known about it.

None seem terribly great atm though.

Do the gigabyte and asus offer dual chanel and with their minimal ram slots along with only one pci-e slot are enthusiacs going to be bothered with them.

Aopen seem decent but a high cost, only serious Yonah folk are going to be interested i fell, luckily most of those are on XS :D
The aopen placement does worry me however since the socket is in an odd place it may make mounting a prommie difficuly especially for daily usage

Cool, i've not read a whole lot about any other boards than the aopen, think thats my plan tomorrow.

Do you have many details on the MSI board? I'm not in the best frame of mind atm to do much searching for info on it.

I hope these boards don't take a page from the old i915 P-M boards and cost an arm and a leg. That would kill them for sure.

I assume extra power similar to the one on my DFI Ultra-D

Though 24pin psu plug+12v 4pin thing+molex, wonder how many watts this thing needs.

2 questions i have, anyone know if the headkit for a p4 skt478 mach 2 will fit or if something new will be needed.

And 2, why is the cpu socket at such a wweird angle, surely that may harm daily phase users

The AOpen & Gigabyte boards looks like they are using P4 S478 mounting brackets.

prob standard s478 coolers will fit aopen board, it is p4 bracket that is on.
Angle i think it is a good thing, that way it is harder to damage the core, some corners like to pop :D.
