Nice setup Zmarr :) Nice to see someone taking good care of his 9800 pro. I'm desperatly looking for a new cooler for mine along with Arctic epoxy for the sinks. THey where "glued" to the chips last time with the standart glue pads :p they fell right off due to heat :p:
Do you happen to know a Belgian Vmodder who'd be willing to do it? But problem is I can't go without my 9800pro for long :p: I need the OC rush I get from it :) It's a nice beast :)
-
wow, those are some very slick mods! nice and clean.

Yep, I've sticked it in there using double sided 3M thermal tape....

Immaculate work here, some of the early ones are amazing, triple heatshrunk and everything. Thanks for the ideas guys :). I'll probably end up doing a cooling mod for one of my GTs at some point.
-
Wow!
Those are some sweet Vmods!
Mine are always function > form, but yours are both!

There's my WC open rig for easy access and modding.
The Vmod is probably an X800XT in that pic, which subsequently died as a result of a botched Vmem mod. I don't do Vmem mods anymore... Got an X850XT now. Vcore'd that one in the same way and got 675 Mhz on the core benchable and 650 Mhz for 24/7 games.
The 4 pin molex allows easy access to the measurement point, whilst the var res is removeable from the 3 pin fan header for default operation. (Credits go to someone else for that idea though, can't remember who.)
