Well my waterblock arrived in the mail today, and I will commence with the leak testing tonight! Finally, everything is ready. :D
If only I could figure out a good rad box design..... will be forever a work in progress, and until then, the W/C sits next to my case. :p:

Nice setup. If that T is for a T-Line I would suggest getting a 5/8 T to lower the restriction, and I am sure the primoflex will slip over the 5/8 barbs on it. According to PH a T is kind of restrictive even when its on the straight through path.
What ancient said is the first thing that came to mind over here too...

that setup should produce some very good temps.
as for the 5/8" Tees - I have checked all the local hardware stores and I struck out on that one. I am now in process of tracking down 5/8" tees and 5/8" wyes (no luck on wyes thus far but I shall find them yet). The new fittings for the core have spoiled me...now I have to the same sizes in everything else. :)
I forgot to add the Zerex and 13.8V DC power supply (to volt up the pump).
Ancient_1: I have 3 different Ts actually. :p: One is the one in the picture, a 1/2" barb T, I also have a 1/2" ID copper T w/o barbs which has roughly 5/8" OD, and a 3/8" ID 1/2" OD copper T w/o barbs. The 1/2" ID 5/8" OD copper T w/o barbs is kind of hard to get inside of the 1/2" ID Primoflex, but that's going to be my first attempt. The barbed T was a fallback in case I got too frustrated getting the tubing onto the non-barbed T. Also, the 1/2" ID copper T w/o barbs has the smoothest corners of all the options, the others are more of square corners, so I'd imagine the 1/2" ID copper T would have the best flow. The little connector piece is just to attach some extra tubing for fill/bleeding to the tube coming off of the T, so I don't have a 3' segment off of the T 24/7.
If anyone is curious, the parts above are:
-Storm/G4 CPU waterblock made by Cathar
-2-302 Heatercore, aka '77 Bonneville w/ AC (tubes modded for shortness and sanded for smoothness)
-2-302 shroud made by Weapon
-2 Sanyo Denki "San Ace" 120mmx38mm muffin fans, 103CFM @ 12V (will be run at ~9-10V for acceptable noise levels)
-2 black aluminum mesh fan grills/filters
-AquaXtreme 50Z 1/2" DC pump (will be run at 13.8V)
-Primoflex 1/2" ID 3/4" OD silicone tubing, blue, uv reactive (no UV lights though, just like the color)
-Stainless steel worm drive clamps
-Brass barbed connector/T (probably won't be using that T)
And not pictured:
-Zerex Racing Super Coolant (will be used at 1:9 with distilled water)
-TrippLite 13.8V 4A DC Power Supply (with modded molex connector for use with the pump)
Edit: I was hunting for different Ts at Lowe's the night before last, and they only have 1/2" OD and 3/4" OD barbed Ts. I picked up a 1/2" OD T just as a backup plan (or ease of use). The 1/2" ID 5/8" OD non-barbed tube is probably what I will end up using in hindsight, especially after the comments here. It'll be a little trickier for leak-proofing, but it should definitely offer better flow.
actually bigger barbs are great for leak proofing.. I find that my 1/2inch id barbs (all of htem except for my cpu and gpu waterblocks) are much better than the crappy 1/2in od barbs.. you really dont e even need clamps. like to get my tubing off my pumps barbs it takes an act of god to get them off.. last time i got pissed off after 45minutes of using roughly 300 pounds of pulling force (i have strong legs) and just used a razor and cut the tubing off.
LOL, I was just thinking it would be more difficult because it has no barbs at all, just flat, smooth copper tubing... nothing really for the tube to "grip" on to.

hey guys i just got an xp120 for my friend.. fedex just dropped it off.. that thing is just freeking crazy.. got him a panaflow 120x38 fan.. Its a surprisingly quiet fan with good flow.. but the heatsink is just amazing.. always loved thermalright..
I guess the question of the day would be where to get a 5/8" OD barbed T-line, hopefully made of brass or copper.
MAKE one!!! lol... u coud do it... with 5/8 inch tubing from hardware store, some solder and a torch.... weapon could give you more advice on that.. he is our resident solder freak for watercooling.
Make one my ass. :p: I would definitely screw something up, but I am actually buying a soldering iron, etc. today to do a VDIMM mod since I'm taking my mobo out.
She's as happy about receiving it as I am. :hehe:
ahh ic... soldering is fun.. just make sure u get some practice before you mess with the mobo.

Is AquaXtreme 50Z the same as MCP600? They seem very similar to me. Also is that how well could the radiator fit the shrouds? And just curious, where did you get the sanyo denkis? they used to be on ebay until recently. Nice stuff btw!

the 50z and mcp600 are the same pump.. the 50Z is the new revision with the fixed bearings and seals.
The shroud is custom deisgned for that radiator by our very own weapon.
The sanyo denkis were purchased from weapon, but our supplier is dockhardware who is now out of the denki fans. One of the guys emailed him today and got an email back saying they are out. They are trying to get more for us but no garuntees.

She's in the bleeding/leak test phase now. :) How long can I expect it to take for all the air to bleed out? The cavitation is getting less noticable by the minute, I assume it'll be silent before long.
