love the fans, very aggressively curved blades like the gentle typhoons, cant wait to see perf numbers.
and the hex/knrul on the rotary fittings,
bought my first rotarys recently and had leaking problems cause i could not tighten them enough, and the only tool i could use was vice grips, which scratched them all up and a pain to use.

Sweet, never thought we'd see the return of the Apogee drive. Pump/block combos can be pretty useful in a space-constrained build and it was the only standalone unit on the market. The new one looks very nice with the G1/4 ports and backlit logo.

I got a short preview already, but its good to finally see all the products. Especially the Apogee Drive 2 and the VRM/Chipset blocks. :)

what he means (at least im assuming so) is that you have the option to add another pump on top of the one already installed in the apogee II in order to have redundancy. so no, there are not 2 pumps in the apogee II :)
hey gabe, i was looking at the fan and it says it has a z bearing? what type of bearing is a z bearing?
also thank you for releasing so many new toys!!! i am going to have to rethink my build now. (the apogee II is calling me)

Damn!!! This is awesome Gabe!!! It's going to be hard to decide between the Apogee Drive II or the dual MCP35X pump setup. The fittings look sweet too. I would like to see more of the bay res. Now if we can get pricing and a more precise date. Awesome job guys, definitely a home run here.

No precise ETA or pricing as of yet. Most of these new products have been prototyped and approved.
A few answers to your questions:
* Apogee Drive II has a completely flow design, the internals have completely redesigned. I am sure most of you will be surprised :) Also this time, everything is CNC machined. Inlet and outlet ports are adjustable to fit everyone's needs. Obviously we made that one compatible with compression fittings. MSRP will be placed aggressively especially when you consider the price of an MCP35X and of an high end CPU block. Performance wise, it does better than Apogee HD and everything that I've ever tested up to date. Compatible with Swiftech MP's technology.
* Maelstrom is a dual 5"1/4 bay reservoir. It can work alone, with a MCP35X or a MCP35X2! You don't have to pay for the pump top if you already have it! It has a built-in LCD thermometer that reports the coolant temperature (temperature probe inside the reservoir). The reservoir itself has been designed to maximize the air trap efficiency. And ironically it's also been designed so that you'll never ever see a maelstrom with this reservoir!
* Helix was designed for max efficiency on liquid cooling radiators! 9-blade design and a max speed of 1850 RPM at 12V. Z-bearing is an improved type of sleeve bearing that creates much less friction. Testing wise at equivalent speeds, Helix does slightly better than GT's. at 5 and 7V the difference is pretty noticeable thanks to the Z-bearing (double ball bearing fans suffer at low RPM). This first product of an upcoming line has no PWM.
* Fittings: a complete line of compression fittings including standard, rotaries, angles, adapters... Those are not relabeled fittings, the whole line has been designed from scratch considering each and every aspect of the use of fittings in a liquid cooling system. If you've used compression fittings you most likely know their pros and cons. With these fittings, there will be only pros left :P HEX based for a positive lock on all of them. No more compression fittings that unscrew when you are trying to remove the compression nut! The compression nuts also have a small flat area to use an open-end wrench. No more damaging the nice knurling of the compression nuts.
* MCP35X2:this product will be out next week (already in stock), we were basically waiting for CES to release them. They come with a PWM splitter that allows you to hook up the 2 pumps on a single CPU 4-pin header. This splitter lets you keep both RPM signals. You can also stack them to divide your one PWM signal into many (I tested this on my workstation - the one with the Maelstrom prototype and it works great with 2 pumps and 3 fans... It's a lot of wire but it's just great to control both pumps and fans at the same time without having to do anything. Yeah I'm that lazy - or not (c.f. the number of new products in this page ^_^ ). Performance wise, it works just like 2 MCP35X in series :D

Since the MCP35X will be released next week, can we get a price? Are we talking in the $200 -$250 range? How long before the Apogee Drive II? EOTM or April? Also, can we get some more pics of the Apogee Drive II and the Res?

MCP35X2 will be available as a TOP only (<$50) for those who already have the DDC's and also as a package with 2 pumps (<$200). Sorry I can't give you any precise number at this time.
I hope we can start shipping Apogee Drive 2 end at the begging of March.

Figured it would be more than $200, but you can always dream. I think the Apogee Drive II will be a hot seller, especially amongst the SFF group. Now if you could figure out a way to install a res on it, well, again, you can dream. :D

if the res was also around the pump heatsink, it would cool the pumps (no, i don't know how hard that would be to pull off). sure, another few watts of heat dump, but what a great epeen selling point ("I even watercooled my PUMP")

That would be awesome. I got my HD last week, already have my GTX580's cooled by Swiftech (MCW82's and sinks). Would love the new pump setup. I want the Apogee Drive II for my tech station, it would make it even easier for swapping gear out. Anyway, really loving the new products. Any chance of universal mosfet blocks or ones for Z68 boards?

I want to ask about the MCP35X2 top, I can see that the white version has that black "metal" (I'm guessing is metal) piece on top of it, would it be possible to remove it safely? (i can see that it has screws all around) I'm asking because I might end up painting that piece to match the rest :D

Can inlet/outlet ports of MCP35X2 can be changed by simply rotating/switching the pumps making the whole thing more versatile for each build it is will be used in?

stephenswiftech: now we are back to swiftech's RMA policy. If i have two MCP35X and mount your dual top bought separately, will i loose support/RMA options as per old policy, or there are some changes/extentions to it? Also can you tell what are mounting dimensions/screw holes and alike. I wonder if it can be mounted like EK's dual top in 5.25 bays, and if someone, eg. UN-Design, decide to release some mounting bracket for one dual block, will it fit for another?
And second question that arose to me is fan related one. - Do you plan to make 140mm variety of fans? Seeing you planning to release 140mm QPs, such model might be good accompanying product, especially knowing that there are no GTs of that size it might gain even bigger share of larger fan market.
P.S.
Also wiring that comes along dual top. Can you show it's schematics? I know that with fan splitters rpm wire should come only from one for readings to be fine. I have suggestion as to wire rpm wire from one pump in 4-pin pwm connector, but from second pump tach wire only make into separate 3-pin or 4-pin connector. This way both pumps can be regulated simultaneously, but we keep option of monitoring both pumps.
And what do you think of changing connector color to black one?
