its not the same market segment, but your OC shouldn't be any different. Just with this you can OC your CPU and iGP, as well as have SSD caching, its like a side grade to most of us, but for people buying new its not.

I'm still waitin on the p67x-ud3r and you guys already got z68x over there already. That's pretty crazy.
-
-
Is that why pics were pulled???
-
most likely, i think NDA i heard was may 5th?

100% same PCB as P67 UD7, they just slapped the Z68 on the board and flashed it with another BIOS
No videoports :(

I wonder how long it will be before it's available for the P67's.

Gigabyte has made its last P67 mainboard and cancelled all future production – that’s the stunning news that has just filtered into KitGuru’s newsroom. Shocking stuff, but is it real and, if so, what does it mean. KitGuru heads for the underground carparks to find out, deepthroat style.

I guess we can call this one confirmed...

 only real reason to go with an z68 in my opinion.
-
If that was true what Kitguru wrote, that Gigabyte no longer produces P67 , that would be a very bad strategy in my opinion... lol he even states to turn to Asus, ASrock and co...
-
yeap it's true,no more p67 boards for gigibut, very interesting to quit P67 after a couple of months...
-
If Gigabyte have moved to EFI, does that mean gimped 3DMark01 performance?

Well, before Z68 we had H61 for garbage boards, H67 for value boards, P67 for everything above, so if they can get the price right with Z68 there is really no need for P67 anymore.
-
My concern now is if they are not manufacturing the P67's what kind of support and updates will P67's get going forward. I just got my UD7 4 days ago and this is not something that sits well with me right now.
-
glad I waited to move from p55 lol

Wouldn't your money be better spent on a larger ssd? I think that it's safe to say that most enthusiasts will be using a discrete video card anyways.

Same question here, i go search my UD7 B3 monday ( for replace my B2), but now im a bit worry with bios support. Let's hope for a UEFI bios for the P67 too soon.

well i think you can use the igp for physx can't you?
Id wait for P67 prices to drop because of these boards, or buy one of these for the UEFI.

Nvidia PhysX ? i seriously doubt you can use it for PhysX.... maybe for OpenCL or direct compute based physic .. but that's all . ( maybe troubled by the way you have spell Physic ). + I really doubt this "IGP" have enough compute power for be helpfull...
