Mips EVGA X58 SLI LE waterblocks
-
Nice!
Really like the look of that board and the blocks are a good match.
-
MIPS appears to be the first to offer blocks for this board, hopefully they won't be the last... cause god knows how hard it is to get MIPS goodies in North America :(
-
Nice, now all we need is black screws, that would really rock... but the blocks do look awesome :)
-
i think if the copper was nickle plated it'd look better..i dont really like the copper color on that board..just .02 other wise its nice..and why not make it one full block like others have been doing lately?
-
Nickel bottom will come also but in some weeks. Copper bottom is available in few days.
-
Any updates to this?
And is anywhere else doing them yet? I have had a look but cant find anywhere....
-
The copper-pom blocks are already in the shop.
-
-
this is BS, i cant get a proper gd70 block and a low end evga gets a NB/SB block and the SB just gets hotter with a water block on it
-
Great blocks. With better US availability, MIPS blocks would be great sellers. :)
-
Six, great work as usual. Now how about some blocks for the Asus P6T7? Bitte schoen??? :)

It'll never happen, they just don't have the capacity and don't seem interested in expanding. They've had North American demand for ages, but have stopped supplying most of their partners (such as NCIX).

meep?
the SB gets hot with a waterblock on it?
The SB is only responsible for the onboard sound, network, and probably ICH10R. That would put out about what? 20W-30W of heat? I dont see how a simple copper sink with a fan couldnt do that.

He's saying that the SB block transfers the heat of the loop to the SB chip because it's cooler than the rest of the stuff in the loop.
-
OH that makes sense...
but the SB really isnt temperature sensitive.
-
Asus P6T7? Did you saw how many blocks you need for ?:brick:

the point is that its counter productive not that its temp sensitive
and the ich10r is just a sata controller its about 10-15W max
OT- the pwm looks nice though

then you could say its counter productive to add NB, SB and mosfets to your loop in the first place
-
fullboard blocks arent meant to be productive unless u use a multi gpu layout.
So the SB is just a bonus.

LOL  I have faith you could do it. :D Think of it as a challenge! You'll have it done by next week, right?
-
First time I see this board!
Great "watercovering" :D
-
How is this board different from the rest of the gang?
