Right Recieved the Mountain Mods Case

But have big problems

I ordered the case with the black mirror finish, but ended up with this instead

Have emailed ben, (He has replied, asking for photos of what i got, and then discuss the options

I have places I can have this powdercoated black, but I should see why I should pay for this has its MM fault I have the wrong finish here
It would cost MM $300 for shipping, back to the USA and then back to the uk ($150 each way)
So I thinking MM Should refund some of my money (£100, this is what it will cost for my to have this powdercoated)
It would cost MM £200 to send back there and here
So this saves idea saves money and time

So is this build going to be entirely black? Hence the name?

Not sure I get your drift, MomijiTMO. Davep has paid a pretty penny for the case, and then had to pay for shipping to the UK as well. Assuming it was a mistake on MM's part, hopefully they will work with him to make it good.

I have a brushed aluminum MM case ... it's fine, but is nowhere near the finished look of the anodized or powder coated cases - so something will need to be done to this one to bring it up to snuff.

Too bad there's not someone local who is looking for an MM case that they want to powdercoat / paint, as that could be an easy way out for everyone.

I know two different people they can get this powder coated, so thats easy

Want MM to pay for it, has its their fault

I had bits to be powdercoated before, so every needed should have been done by now

Excellent idea on the back panel. I thought about how I could fit a PA 120.3 somewhere in the back, but didn't know they had that available. Are you going to mount the rad vertical or horizontal? I think either way the weight of the PSU and rad will warp your back panel, unless the mobo's horizontal brace prevents that. Let me know how that goes cuz I'll looking to go horizontal mobo in the future.
