Just boot up at 5528MHz after a fresh install and run a Spi 32M; :) Time was crap BTW but stability amazed me.
Then I've clocked a bit to see how high it can go. :)
Looks quite good actually, but not as FSB friendly as the P35 series... Anyway, I've to use it a bit more to improve my knowledge.

Awesome results, I'm looking forward to seeing more.
A bit off topic, but I just got this board in yesterday but haven't used it yet.
I haven't OC'd on a DFI board since the socket 754 days, so I'm kinda nervous about how long it'll take me to figure this sucker out.
Theoretically, would you mind if I PM'd you for some info and help at some point?

*waiting for more benching results *...............

Good job...
Looking forward to further information...
-
Could you test max stable FSB and max super pi FSB,I'll be very pleased
-
yeah we wait for max FSB for this new stuff...
-
looks good, cant wait for more results
-
Nice results  , we need more pics :)

great mb, any comparison to dfi x38/p35?
-
Only higher binned x38 as far as I know
-
Nice results, looks like DFI created a very good board, did you have any time to test how it clocks ram (especially at low latencies)?

FSB is definitely not the strong point for this board... BTW I guess the matter isn't actual board but the chipset itself. :)

It looks quite good for this job.
So; I've managed to perform some Spi32M this morning. Here they are. First one is crap... really crap considering the CPU clocks. Second one, ran with 266FSB strap is better by far. :)

I know that FSB isnt strong point of this board, but I really want to see how far can it go...
-
Nice Xavier :)
Can you please post some info on max options in BIOS, and the max FSB?
-
Thanks mate :)
Ok guys; I've tried it with my 640FSB+ E8500 and the best it can boot at was 550FSB... and Spi1M wasn't able to pass even at 540FSB... So i've turned the cascade off... :D No need to loose time on this matter. So far X48 chipset isn't the one to clock FSB.
-
I have the Ballistix also and am having an incredibly hard time getting this board stable or even into windows. Can you possibly show some of your mem settings so I can duplicate them?
-
Before!
Great Results and great mobo and CPU youv'e got there .
Can you Post SPI 1M ??
-
Looks like a sweet board even it anit good for high FSB
Gonna stay turned in.... for more results
Keeep pushing it :D
-
Really nice Xavier  I certainly wish that this board is a good ram clocker ... Any bios pics ? Also, do you know if DFI is planning on releasing a DDR3 version one ? :)
