more serious HDD tester: post IOmeter results
It will take a few minutes to set this benchmark up but IOmeter is a much better way to test a hard drive performance than Hdtach etc... Post also what setup you have
Here is a quick guide how to set it up:
1. Download IOmeter

2. You can try opening iometer.icf file (see attachement) or set it up manually
Set target and disk size (8GB)

3. Create a new test

4. Last parameters

Then simply click start tests (green flag). Run time will be 5min*4=20minutes
It will save results in CSV file. Next you want to open the file in Excel and format to something like this (raptor 150GB raid0):
