Im guessing 2ghz, 2.4 and 2.8 varieties?
Where is this from and Price is Euro? or pounds?
far as i knew the 9700 was due in dec ?
Seems a dollar for me, judging by BE-2300 price, which is around 70 euros in Finland.
Edit: Arr. Euros. :|
This is euro :):D
2.2, 2.4 and 2.6 respectively
Pre-order???
Nice, X4 9600 quad costs even less than Q6600.
Hmm, I was considering ditching k10 and going straight to nehalem because of k10's performance, and that I have an am2 board and don't want to waste money on an intel board just for a conroe die shrink, but with these prices, I may have to comply to amd's marketing!
Lol why are you all astonished, it's a known fact that intel is always more expensive then AMD.
Cpu and mainboard that is.
only 20$ difference between the models?
as much as i'd like it to be true, not going to happen i'm afraid...
I'm just surprised at how they're able to do that with the size of the die and how small yorkfield will be. This probably will be another tough quarter and they'll most likely have to rely on their high end and opterons to bring in the cash flow. All they'll get out of the low pricing is perhaps a few percent more market share, which is all hector seems to want, he doesn't seem to realize you can't run a company if it's completely broke even if you have a fair amount of market share. Investors will eventually get tired of this, they needed something bigger.
hopefully k10.5 will have the l3 cache closer to the l2 cache so the signal has to pass through 11 layers of metal, 9,10, and 11 being pretty thick
here's what i got from a froogle search - http://www.google.com/products?num=1...+amd&scoring=p
Everything seems to be back/pre-order so I'm guessing min 1 week probably more like 2 or 3.
AMD Phenom X4 9500 model works @ 2.2Ghz,if anyone wanted to know ;)
They are coming in 2 weeks, when AMD launches Spider (Phenom + RD790 + RV670/R680)
I don't think spider includes the r680, isn't that for q1:confused:
is there anywhere in the US you can get a decent am2+ board?
That's consistent with the recent rumors that the others are 2.3 GHz and 2.4 GHz:

Now I can see my early Christmas present
I will go with 9700, hopefully price in UK wont be more than 200 quids. :)
pre-order also available in our country and also prices are less than the Q6600:
