all i can say, it's dated 11/12 and i've found it on coolaler.com forum, but improvement writen in chinese, sorry.
proabably worth a try. Asus is slow to load bioses lately on their site.
is this for the non wifi or wifi version?
it's the same for both...
that i did not know....thanks.
***seems to work fine. haven't noticed any improvements but i'm also using it for work at the moment so i will try and max it out later.
What is there left to fix on this mobo?
I guess it could always be more stable or more compatible with certain hardware, but I am still on the 0614 bios and have no issues with anything.
I've think the same with the 0711 , but after i install the 0804, i've noticed a much higher o/c, and 0711 has a lot improvement compared to 0614 :)
I have just begun running QX6700 on P5B Deluxe,
Does anyone know if this BIOS beta has better support for Quad Core in some way than my current BIOS : 0804 ?
I guess Il have a shot with this BIOS then, May fix the problems with my RAM not posting on a divider:)
The signature at 0908 looks convincing though, but I think I will wait ! :D
Attachment 54068
what do those mean?
that this guy is smarter than us because he knows how to read rom files?
all i know is that it is Hexadecimal but no clue what he is comparing other than the red characters and what they actually mean.
at least, the 0908 bios fixes the wrong ram/cpu information at boot.
OK, so what is the censuses here. Flash to the Beta 0908 bios, or stick with the 0804 bios? I get my motherboard x-mas day, otherwise I would be installing them and figuring it out myself. I just dont want anyone thinking im to lazy to try this out myself :-]
Flash to 0804, if 0908 is ok then flash it :)
Oke doke:)Quote:

This is a internal BIOS release designed to improve memory compatibility and to address a couple of timing issues with the on-board ADI audio that is causing hiss and static in certain situations.
