There is a new Crossfire setting in the bios. Under the PEG settings in northbridge chipset settings. Cool! :)

Please don't cut and paste links like that. Half the link is messed up.
Cut and paste the shortcut instead.

Not on Asus site yet, do they explicitly mention "Cold Boot changed" in the changelog? As this "cold boot" thing is something they've engineered by design, so I'd be interested to know if they've mentioned that they have disabled it (if indeed they have).
yes... flashed and found that cold boot problem solved.:woot:
If this coldbooting thing really is resolved then fingers crossed they implement it for BIOSes on the rest of their range soon :chicken:
Amen to that!Quote:

So if I understand it right, the Asus P5B-D has the hardware support for ATi Crossfire cards but was not supported in BIOS, right?
Bastards! Fix my P5W-DH already ASUS!

Agh...This BIOS scared the crap out of me. As usual, I reset my BIOS to factory defaults before flashing, but it hung on reboot. Powering off and on didn't work, so I had to pull the plug to post and I got the CPU Overclocking failed message. You've been warned...
Seems ok, I wonder if they optimized the BIOS code, it seems ever so slightly faster to POST.
I just want tRFC in BIOS... (P5WDH)
Come on Asus give us this on the P5W DH Deluxe!
And the P5W64!
nice andre finally, thanks for the link
I'll take one for the P5B-E. That is really my only grip with Asus is that "feature"
