Maybe should people considering P5w DH as good mobo with high fsb abilities if the chip rocks ..cos my P5w Dh isn't even a last revision .. bought it on end of june ... lol ( sadly thought it was crap few weeks ago )
BTW I still run with bios 1101.... ;)
And before anyone asks, yes this is a beta, use at your own risk...
FWIW 1405 was the buggiest one I have tried, I might skip this until we know more about it.
Is there any improvments or bugfixes?
@Mykou
Are these L628B series available from overseas only? Just wondering because they seem to be the batch with great results lately. Yet I havent seen any US have them.
Yeah i just got one from the Egg, L628AXXX Package date 8/26/06.Quote:

My system finally got up to 3.2 gHz stable with the new bios 1407.
New feature with the 1407 bios: MCH voltage is now up to 1.85v.
You real sure about that?Quote:

Still 1.65 for my rev. 1 board.

With 1405, the max MCH voltage was 1.65v. Now it is 1.85v with the 1407 bios.Quote:

I had BIOS corruption with 1407 . I was lucky that a friend of mine had a spare 701 bios and we did a hot flash ... I hope to test it today .
This bios is BETTER than 1405, i had lot of problems with 1405 and my problems with 1407 gone ...
tbh the bioses have all been ocing the same since 0801... I'm loosing hope of anything decent coming in the bios... (tRFC needed badly)
Did any good come of it? I.e better OC results, or anything?Quote:
