I haven't got a board so can't comment to much but i have seen the board has been doing 530fsb.
So much to those who thought the chipset could only do 420ish tops...;) LOL
bring it on...i know i can't wait now :)

 You're excited - there must be something good about this board then! Can't wait to see some proper FSB boards out. I was hoping to go for something like the P5W64-WS Pro + E6400 but this might sway me.
You not got that E6600 from Dabs anymore Smidders?Quote:

I did a DSR 2000 as soon as I got it.Quote:

wauw :toast:
im glad i didnt give i to temptation and got a DS3.
to bad we have to wait for at least another month :(
guess it will be worth it in the end though lol
 DFI is coming back
tony any news when it will be available the board?
Fantastic this is the kind of news I've been waiting to hear about this board :slobber:

new chipset, async memory clocking - bound to be issues for a while yet, it's good that DFI are trying to get it right before launch rather than after..
I'll wait and see...
DFI Infinity 975X/G and their support scared me...
Its fake! We want facts :nono:
cool, i still might get a p5b deluxe and try and sell it for RD600, its hard for me to wait so long
that sort of FSB in internal testing is mighty good but there are a few things DFI does which i don't like
hypes products way too early
takes waaaay to long to reach retail in australia (last board i got >> Expert i had to wait a cool 1.5 months AFTER it was made available at the distributor)
the products are bloody good but the wait man oh man
now i think there's actually something to look forward to anyways so that's a good thing :)
Looking forward to your results when you do get one Tony!Quote:

Great news Tony! I can't wait for a new board to replace my badaxe.
*i wonder if this board has a clean socket area..
Looking at the digital VRM of the Nvidia board it should be. Gone are the bulky electrolytic caps and in are smaller SMD ceramics ;)Quote:

i thought this board was dead......is it going to be released?.......if so it probably will be the last intel chipset from ati, i probably wouldnt buy it, because i dont think support will be too great.......ati=amd....also amd is going to use the amd name for the motherboard chipsets, and will keep the ati name for video, so i cannot imagine a amd chipset for intel, LOL.
And quite frankly, when was the last time you saw Tony actually post something like this - if Tony is excited, I'm pretty sure there is good reason to be. I just hope he will be doing some more BigToe BIOS's for the board - I remember the best DFI BIOS I ever used was the 704-2BTA for my Ultra-D - the only competition that came for that BIOS was one which was released almost 9 months after his one in the March 29th 2006 BIOS (329).Quote:

If everything goes well, we may see Coolaler and his gang posting here with that board by end of September :toast:
That was what I was told... Besides, those pictures that you see is going to be different than the final board. The final board has a different heatsink and most importantly, the 90º SATA connectors.
