getting any conroe is a total biatch and it seems that B2 are not performing to ES chip levels......got a E6400 to play with until a decent conroe comes by my way :)

I don't raise any voltage unless it gets me stuck on an overclock...........vcore is normally a culprit in higher MHz..........all the tests were started with stock voltages except RAM which is on 2.0vdimm...........the rest of screenshots have the info i changed in the shots.....

yeah i've got something else on the way to test.........i can't just settle on the first(or second) chip i get......can't fall asleep at night you know what i mean heh

coretemp is supposed to be reading the CPU temp sensor but i donno the results have been flaky from two different motherboards with same E6300ES i was testing prior to this so hard to say

when i touch the base of TTBT during 3.7GHz benches it was luke warm at best

Ay ayay, aren't you speeding, my boy :lol: It looks like there ARE some people that can get their DS3 to run alright... :) I'm sure with even better push, you'll be cruising a 4GHz highway very soon, man! :up:

if i had crazy ambient temps and monster air cooler with 1.65v i think it's doable

or just a better chip...........hopefully the next one can do without those extremes

im extremely pi$$ed off at this point i wasted my money on this ram.

and for now i cant tell if its the ram or the mobo.

only indication i have that its the mobo is that the 6400 ZX's i had did the same thing.
no amount of voltage or tweaking fixes it. 900-925 is ok but above that.. forget it.
400fsb cold bootable at 1.33 is 100% stable and good. thats a 9x multi btw.

core temp is junk i really wish people would stop using it. it reports temps just insanely high
just use speedfan thats all you need.
it reads the temps on the DS3 right on the money

i don't think any of those temps things are correct to be honest

how the hell would 100C in bios be correct you tell me i've seen temps range from 60-130C.......at least coretemp reports constant temps and in the range rather than onboard bioses.....well it seems a bit more accurante than anything else

my RAM can do past 500MHz 4-4-4-12 :)

i dont think the board can do above 925 very good no matter what cas timings.
kenofstephens is having the same issues.
he cant do 1000mhz with his teamgroup ram.

boy dont that just kick ya in the nutz. its a waste of ram to buy such good stuff for this baord.



dinos if you get a chance and have a 6600 throw it in there find out what your FSB wall is bootable and in windows.

i have my 4ghz 12sec 1m Pi over in the hwbot thread. wonder where that will place me ?

I thought that the DS3 couldnt boot to more than 1.8 Volts on the Vdimm? dont HZ need 2.0 - 2.1 Volts?

wakes up at 1.9v and HZ stick have not problems booting

at least not for me
