I'm wondering where the 300+ Mhz came from on the same cooling. This chip is truly phenomenal, Intel has made up for years of mediocre products in 2006. Sure will be nice to see if this chip/board combo can take some serious negative temperatures, get on it FUGGER ;) :D
He disabled the 2nd core for the extra boost, check the CPUz shots out :)
Talk about a flexible chip. Need a 3D WR? Keep both cores enabled, need a SPI WR? Turn off one core and send the main one flying :banana:

It is the best chip it seems like, but whats so incredible with that? Amd 64 and p4 nw ht(800mhz fsb) was also butkicking everything whenthey came out years ago. If it werent better than what the marked already have, why would the benches be this good.Quote:

sorry if this was asked already but did coolaler overclock his cpu by ~1.3ghz with a vcore of just 1.27? (and fugger needed 1.5v for ~1.5ghz overclock)
