:toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:
love the LN2 cube........can you take a pic of the whole setup and also can you control the flow of LN2 with your setup.....
-
-
Man, I want more pictures, thats some hardcore stuff :D
EDIT:
Uhm, just added some :D
-
can you/how do you control the flow of LN2.....this is looking a lot more user friendly to the normal copper tube jobbie :D
-
very interesting in ur ln2 tank! l0l 7G!
-
Crazy temps, crazy clocks, VERY EXTREME! Nice WR :)
as dinos said, so there is a flow of ln2 through that block, like watercooling with liquid nitrogen?
-
-
Great.. nice stuff man.. i also lik the frequency counter!
Congrats on WR, but why no superpi?
as for the ln2 pump, the place were my dewar came from, they make super stuff for ln2 just like a ln2 pc controlled pump.. its really horny. still 3000euro

That is one stylish cube :D
maxxxpct awesome results congrats on the big 7g and on dual core!!!!

whoa that cube is awesome! it looks so neat!! and it performs EVEN better than it looks!!! :D :slobber:
-
congrats, im loving that cube
-
nice WR, that cube looks impressive.
-
-
:toast: Pure Italian creativity.:D
-
just out of curosity, does the excess LN2 just flow out of the other tube, or do you try to recycle it somehow? :p:
-
Very nice!
Can you do Super Pi? :toast:
-
What's that tape between the neoprene layers?
-
-
Wow, that cube is just sick!! Very nice maxxx!! :toast:
-
thought someone called my name?
but damn dude push hardER!
-
One thing I wonder, since using a pumpe, and a "waterblock", wouldnt Liquid Hydrogen be an option, or Liquid helium??
-
OMG. That block is awesome. So the dewar has a valve that "pumps" the liquid nitrogen through? does it hold load well? (i noticed you just have screenshots, no benchmarks...EITHER WAY THAT IS KICK ASS)
What happens to LN2 once it exits?
and the last question....where do the wires sticking out of the block go too?
Thanks man, it looks very very neat. Great job!

I want to know as well!! :D
oh and by the way I do love the little block!! that is real nice!
-
Ouch, Amazing overclock. 14gig of power in a single box. Go on Fold, or seti.
Thanks
-
it looks to me like its just paper towels in between all the layers, as to soak up any little condensation that starts to form.

Double faced tape.
-
-
yes double faced tape but what kind?
-
-
Love the cube awesome work man and congrats on that WR... I'm so jealous :(
-
great work man...
where does the nitrogen goes later?
-
Thx to all , i'll reply your questions later , going to work now and i can't use internet .
Later guys ..;)
-
Damn, this is extreme! Verry nice OC and I'll love the LN2 system your using!
-
-
-
pretty nice setup->insulation->cooling->results :toast:
-
-
the kit can use to T2600?
-
Cool Setup, gratz :toast: :woot:

Liqued Helium is too expensive to make, and i'm sure of that 4 Kelvin temp (-269 c) will give some serious coldbug or crack the mobo...
Hydrogen... that's just to dangerous:cool:
-
Hi guys :D
really impressive :toast:
it's real Italian style
Italians do it better
ciao ragazzi :D

Hydrogen... that's just to dangerous:cool:
Hmm, when open setup...
And good ventilation in room, why should it be dangerous?
But yes, mobo might become a problem, however testing it is the only way to find out :D
-
The aliens are coming!! :D
italian powa!
:woot:
-
Hi everybody!
Liquid helium requires special room with particular ventilation... You cannot use liquid helium in your garage! ;)
Anyway, AlexTa use this particular method with LN2 for about 2 years now: it's nice to see LN2 cristal falling from the "escape tube"... :D Really hardcore!
-
AlexTa and Maxxx are crazy Italians. Great result

Det gør du bare, Men mener vist at prisen for en flaske flydende Helium er omkring 5000-10000 kr, sååååååååå:D :toast:

hi all , I go to answer to some questions that I have read in the thread posts.
X ozzimark
Q:
just out of curosity, does the excess LN2 just flow out of the other tubas, or I give you try to recycle it somehow?
A:
The liquid nitrogen is unloaded in air without being recycled. Ln2 are dosed in way from to maintain the correct quantity of liquid in LN2-CUBE and, when it evaporates discharge in air through a second small pipe. Opening the ln2 immission valve opportunely is possible to maintain constant the nitrogen level in the tank.
X Mr. Tinker
Q:
What's that tape between the neoprene layers?
A:
The visible white tape in the neoprene layers is a normal bi-adhesive tape.
It is used for preventing the passage of air between the layers of neoprene.
The system is extremely simple and doesn't require of to press the neoprene to get isolation from the air
X vapb400
Q:
What happens to LN2 ounces it exits?
and the last question... .where I give the wires sticking out of the block go too?
Thanks hand, it looks very very neat. Great job!
A:
Thanks for the compliments vapb400
As I have already said the exhausted nitrogen it is dispersed in air evaporating and it is expelled by the second pipe present on ln2-cube.
The two electric wires are connected to the sensor of temperature of the thermometer.
X coolaler
Q:
the kit Khan use to T2600?
A:
Certainly, ln2-cube can be used on any base 939 479 775 and so on....
Thx to all guys , i hope in a better result soon and we'll try some new realy Xtreme:eek: test with this little devil..
see ya all :):) :toast:
-
siete grandi ragazzi!!:)
this is the sound of italian style!!! :woot:
-
Great great work!!! :toast:
Cosi si fÃ:banana:...

That result arrived after 1 session only of clocking. ;) They're already searching the best trade-off with memory.

where do you get the tap from?

Hi Fixxxer, here some first PI ... nothing special , S.O. not optimized...only a simple verify to test stability ..

Hehe, luftede idéen, men 25000 for en pumpe er lige i overkanten :p:
Funker ikke så optimalt i tube, skal jo spules før det har optimal effekt.

Oh man 6.9ghz! Get some better ram speed and optimize the OS and we will see some great results for sure!
-
-
Simply :banana::banana::banana:o. Very nice job on the block :)
1. no mods done to the mobo?
2. are you booting into OS or clockgen?

u guys seen nothing yet
:D
Max & Alex show'em what u got! :D

7.1Ghz DUAL-CORE:eek:
superpi only use one of the cores
should let it bench on multi threaded programs:banana:
nice work:p:
-
Lets see a 2K1 score with that sick clock speed. One of the top spots is yours.
-
thats absolutally mad! :toast:
Quick question, how much noise does the whole setup make?
insane
-
I believe no noise at all! :p
Except for the noisy clocker... :D
-
Wow that is incredible for a dual core!
Does anyone know what was the previous world record?
-
That is crazy!! Go get that PCMark 04/05 record. 7.1ghz SPI 1m stable.
-
Looks good so far. Why don't you run dual pi?
-
Great clocks and i love that cube.
-
This cpu is not normal:) Bench like 3d01 and Cpu Mark's. Also why such high MP of 24? Can the board handle more FSB?
-
They have just started looking for the limit...
Give them a few days, I promise you'll see interesting numbers! ;)

funny Proth I know sticky on both sides but what kind and where do they get it!! I used 3m brand it I don't care for it in this type of application!!! If what they are using is better then the 3m crap I am using I may want to go get some!! :)

Holy... I can only dream a cooling setup like that...
great stuff. :)

Look at these guys dissin his overclock at TPU(don't let those particular members give TPU a bad name, it's a great forum).
http://forums.techpowerup.com/showth...t=11035&page=1
I think it's a great acheivement personally.
-
don't even waste your time arguing with people like that, the less someone knows about something the easier they find it to argue forever about why they are right. This is the fastest dual core ever, that is a HUGE milestone and very impressive no matter what some people say it is.
look at his logic, he says 955XE is better than 680 so it should overclock better. Too bad the FX60 is even better than both, so surely it should overclock to 8G...:slap:
-
-
looks beautiful man keep up the great work
