When i started up, we had around 800 cows on grass.
Good news, we now have 902 cows on grass.
Did some calculation (really hard math here)
There's 4,7978723 cow per member.
I can't eat 4 cows, so i'll invite my kids.

and invite the kids' friends too! Those cows have really ramped up production, however if we keep rocking and rolling while they move to other projects, we'll get them quickly.
sweet, i'm hungry. I've been fasting till we beat them so i can save money for new parts :D
a few things to take note of:
they are currently ahead of us during their stampede, but not by much
which means of course
as soon as this stampede is over with, and their production drops back down to pre-stampede levels (which ill say is 120k tops), we will then be outproducing them by about 150k a day.
as they did today, they outproduced us by 40k (which doesn't happen everyday, usually much less). but, just for fun, ill use the 40k number.
lets say they have and will go ahead 40k for every day of the stampede.
30 days in april
so, they get an extra 1.2 million ahead of us during their stampede**
as soon as they finish, we will still be going strong like normal, producing probably by that time over 250k+, but ill only use 250k. that would mean we would outproduce them by 130k on the following days after the stampede. meaning their entire month of stampeding in which they are supposed to crush the competition they face, will only delay our pass by a little over a week.
XS is ramping up long-term production
the cows are ramping up short-term production
OMG a cow just died, back to 901.
We have to check the quality of the grass.
The thing is, it goes up and down, just before we won 3000.
I think they have reached their limit, and for the first time we are actually losing cows.
MUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHH
wow 4 cows :slobber:
No dream, it's Dutch quality.Quote:

Bad news, it's eating a lot of grass.
They are beginning to like their freedom a little too much.
Frish lmao, that :banana::banana::banana: is funny.
Guys. We can actually beat them! We have beaten them on one of the days recently... http://www.boincsynergy.com/stats/teams.php?project=rah. I just looked at my computer history a lot of client error... son of a :banana::banana::banana::banana: god dasmmkit... muda fuda... RAAAAAAAAAVF GEATFEARFGREQ
Anyways... we ain't that far behind. I just looking at our internal ranking... and like I said in another thread... there's a lot of guys who have done well in the past and recently... but are all stopped now. If we had all these guys back on board... we would sail by the cows and thats before April 30th. I aint 'inspirational' and enough of a figurehead to be PMing all these people but someone's got to do it.... how about some of the 'old guard' or the legends!
OMG! LMAO when I first read this I couldn't stop laughing LMAO! Frisch you are one hillariously crazy dude, and I'm glad you're now part of the team!
BTW Its only 4 cows per member if we divide evenly...but isn't this a First come first serve buffet? If so, watch out cause I'm going to be taking more than my share! :D
Since the first of april their has been an increase of 191 cows
And still counting..
And i don't think anyone thinks that by this stampede we will keep you guys off for long. But we are putting up a nice fight i think and as far as i am concerned the stampede is already a succes. Our ouput has more than doubled and you are working harder also :toast:
mwhahaha made my day here - 4 cows for me wohooo
I will be in netherland 16 - 18th may for the FESPA...maybe I'll get my 4 cows there smoking them away in the next coffee shop :hehe:
We have to check the quality of the grass.
Deffinitively...LOL LOL LOL
OMG! LMAO, I didnt know what this thread was about first... I was like wtf...

^^ I call Dibs on those cows they look fat and tasty :p:
Has anyone been keeping track on how much us and DPC are catching on Free-DC as i think people have forgotten about them up there in No.1?
Comrad... are you running Rosetta@home for us guys? We need more machines to make the party tastier!!!Quote:

Well said, and an excellent observation/point of view.Quote:

Whatcha running?
Well I can get my 1.6 Turion, Centrino, 2.6 p4, and my 2.4 celeron running and as soon as I build my new system which is supposed to be a Conroe I will get that runnign aswell.
Please jump on it, every computer helps, if you have a computer that is sitting idle, invite it to the BBQ.
Today is a good day to get started!:DQuote:

Glad to have you and perfect timing! Now just let us know how you like your beef and the order shall be placed with the chef!:D
I think I take offensive in this guy (top host in http://stats.free-dc.org/new/allhost...direction=DESC)

I didn't accidentially shift the decimal point :)
Plain and simple cheat..no questions about it..thats a 2530mhz P4..Quote:

those kinds of people should have all their points stripped away, as they arn't helping @ all
The number of cows seems to be increasing at an incredible rate.
Someone get them on birth control or something.

Well they are helping the project, because they calculate Work Units, which is the important thing, but as you said they shouldnt get any credit for it.
I really fired everything on r@h I have, 3 working rigs with together > 7 GHZ and my 3 home computers adding another > 8 GHZ ...
i wanna have the phattest cow including "green" gras mwhahaha
anybody of you on the FESPA in the netherlands? would be cool to go on cow hunt with ya there LOL
That pic of the cow licking it's nose is... :lol2:
Our production of cows, is as mentioned before by several clear minded XS members, increasing.
We must seperate the male and females, there's too much cow pron on the Dutch low lands.
I overheard two of them talking, and they are somehow making a point.
Here's what the Dutch proud cow had to say.
It's an absurd world! I'm a vegetarian and my main purpose in life is to be eaten by a non-vegetarian XS member, go figure!'
OK, I decided this is decent stuff and added a couple dual-core Opterons (1x 2.0 GHz, 1x 2.6 GHz, 1x 2.7 GHz).
The 2.7 GHz was at 2.8 for the night but since the temperature in my machine room is so high now (strange, how come... :)) it crashed and I had to restart it at 2.7 GHz this morning and lost the night's results. My life is ruined.
Anyway, in the future it will be required that we make the BOINC client benchmark correctly on FreeBSD. I won't be able to keep all this hardware on Linux for long. Both BOINC and Rosetta work fine on FreeBSD but there is a problem with the benchmarking dragging my scores down too much. Whom do I contact to mess with this?
They are beginning to be desperate.
