dont think it would affect performance at all ?
Hmmm good question DUMO. BTW is that going on manta? Come to think of it werent you looking for a good mobo to run crossfire on?
The CF edition card is the Master card, there is a special "Dongle" that goes over to the secondary card that goes on that connector.
The second card is just a "regular" XXXXX Radeon Card.
@ Ryder....These are the accessories with DVI dongle cable:confused: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814142065

@ Chew...Waiting for Yonah's board to run CF with T2600 box and ES:)
It says that it is the Crossfire Edition, yes.
So that would mean "master card" but, the picture is wrong.
AFAIK, all master cards look like the other 3 cards on this page, I think the picture for the Connect3D card is wrong, but the description does say it is the CF edition.

EDIT: Yes those are the correct accessories for CF card....cable on the right is the "special dongle" for running CF :)
Thanks for info Ryder:toast:
Whew, as long as its mastercard then its ok:)...I think all 1900s are the same ATI's reference card.
Interested in a 06 record dumo on a64? I think I have the cpu and board to do it if your cards are up to the task :) I don't live that far away, not close but R.I. isn't that far.
I would like to try, but all my strong winbonds all gone:(
How's some 273 2x256 bh-5 sticks or some strong 2x256 2.5-3-3-7 ddr 300 tccd sound :) Hehe I kept mine for a little bit longer. And if we can keep this cpu colder than -50 loaded......3.5+ dual core benchable...........No cold bug to -56 cpu temps so far.Quote:

Hmmm those would fit nice on the manta sitting here right now. And people wonder why it has large spacing between the vidcards...............Quote:

Probably not which is why I bought just the regular x1900xt. Interestingly you dont need a master card for x1800xt or lower x1xxx series cards on this board.
If i could find another x1800xt that matched mine at 823/981 on water................imagine that on phase or your DI tubes in 01 or the trifecta for that matter.
Nice tubes Dumo, who made those beauties? Hopefully your CF card is a screamer to match up with the XTX :)
They're Mousepots:)Quote:

Yes, and sent it back within three days with some minor issues.Quote:

AFAIK there are 2 versions of the master (CrossFire edition) card. I've had for a couple of days the C3D that looked just like the one in the first pic and the manual illustrated the second verison (which had a CF connector much more DVI-looking than the regular one, showed in the first pic). The manual also mentioned the existence of the two versions. ;)
Any difference in performance in between those 2 versions?
@Dynasty...Thats interesting..Thanks for info:) ...I will check my local Compusa for bba card, I'm pretty sure they have in stock.
BBATI X1900 Crossfire Edition CHEAPER THAN NEWEGG: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=321347Quote:

EDIT: Its the same link I sent you Dumo...though if you find a cheaper one go for it :) As of right now, the above link from ZZF is $50 cheper than the egg.

DUMO# Is that a 660w Enermax PSU on the pic??:)
@Sioux..Yep, I just got it from rma. This one comes with 2 pci-e connectors.
The old one died by natural cause:) Too much stress from oc and it was fatal when running FX60 and CF:(

@Perkam...Thanks for the link.

Right now I am using three 0cz 520w psu (1 520w per card :p: ).
For some rdx200,fx60 & Xfire testing.
I will look for this particular card. Thanks Dynasty:toast:Quote:

DFI goes yonah would be interesting:) ECS PE23 hopefully by first week April.....Aopen seems not really enthusiastic that their modt mobo will be used other than 'home digital' purpose...@ least Aopen San Jose.Quote:

Thanks Dumo:)
Must be an incompatibility, that is the first time I'm hearing of this. Maybe the newer revs are better Dunno, but I wouldn't put a Tt psu anywhere near an X1900 :p Unless its one of those new Toughpower ones.Quote:
