i was wondering when he was going to get around to putting a 3.06 under the ln2 for some 3dmark. Thats damn impressive on the Radeon as well. Holicho has a tendency to disregard the safety of his components when it comes to raising voltage and overclocking :) gotta admire his attitude, heh.

If you call around actually, it takes a while, but I found a place to get it. I plan on using it, soon as I finish my blasted container for it.

Well I assume OPP is with me on this one.... I think we should try and beat that score with an AMD.... just for the sake of being Xtreme :)

We might need a Barton for it... but I only need to win 350 points over my p4 score to get there ;) (if you think about it, LN2 + granite bay against phase change and IT7... 350 pts aint a lot!)

JC needs some LN2. ;)

Why hasn't anyone put an AMD under LN2 yet? OPP is so high right now with just phase change, LN2 could easily put him to 22k, if not pass Holichos. A barton next week will be nice. ;)

I started to update my scores with granite bay yesterday.

I reclaimed #1 High res, increased #1 High res AA, moved to 22K on low res, and upped my default score too.

I like Granite bay a lot, definitly competition for IT7 Max2.

All my score increases were done with poor video card clocks of 400/350 and I posted all complete tests.

I also updated PCMark taking the #1 memory and #1 HD scores (untill that 4.4Ghz run by Saber was submitted)

Great job Holicho, maybe he might stop by and say hi.

I'm surprised that a Gigabyte mobo acutally reached that high, i guess the GB chipsets are very good by the looks.

Nice work but I still give props to JC for achieving his score without the assistance of LN2 and a Dual Channel DDR board. IMO, that's a big advantage we are talking about.

I told some of the Japanese overclockers to stop by here, but I think part of the prob is that not many speak english. :\ Like not just broken english, not at all.

It would be nice to get some input from Japanese overclockers. they seem to be really knowledgable and have an amazing propensity to use LN2 and high voltages for amazing results.

It looks as if Barton will have a 3-5% increase in performance a the same clock speed as Tbred so this looks like an easy way to gain points as long as they overclock as well.

I'm interested in Canterwood and this mysterious turbo mode for Ram timings, will this swing it back more in intels favour again after recent inroads by AMD?

I'm right around here right now, 21860 or so, I have a few of these and can't publish them. Notice the cpu speed, 2934 at 225 FSB, the thing is flying but I can't even get 21900 so I will definitly need a Barton, I can't see 22000 with my setup at all.

Bartons will be out right away but the good ones @ higher clock speeds won't be here til summer.

It would be unusual to see a new technology like barton come out and be the overclocking king. Time will tell.

Amazing. Congrats to him as always. We can all say wait till the barton, I dumped my p4 already, just to lazy to update my stats.

Work your hardest all you want, he'll just post another one and we'll just keep wondering.

Im pretty sure if the barton ends up being better, he'll be using one. And get one before all of us, since he's in Japan.

Making your LN container isnt to hard some copper and simple soldering skills, and if you want it you can get LN2.

What takes balls is using it hoping for that top score and risking the $$$, or buying the stuff from newegg with their just about we'll take anything back RMA dept.

I have more respect for the guys that use cooling that can be used somewhat reliably.Of course ln2 is cool for setting world records. Its like a street legal car thats suped up vs a dragster running on crazy jet fuel LOL. I wonder if the FX will be able to take the crown from r9700.

Higher FSB = lower mem timings = lower scores :D

I find that running a 4-2-2-Cas2 is a great timing in 3D, just takeing the 4 to a 5 drops a good 100 points.

Still havn't even used your tweaks :)

Anyone has tried email Futuremark? They certainly have the ability to check if the score is fake,and if the score is not fake they have to solve this problem!

I've e-mailed them, no reply.

I haven't figuerd out why scores can't be published. It's not CPU speed I don't think, it has to do with the high FSB and memory timings. Agressive timings at high FSB tend to be very hard to get the score publishable. It comes and goes though, a run at 5-2-2-2 may be good to go 80% of the time, 4-2-2-2 is more like 30% :D
This is all 220 FSB and up, I think 217 and below is safe, then again, how would I know, I don't even run at 217 and below :banana:

hey opp i just reread my other post and i think i should clarify the score that i posted the link to is on an epox 8rda+ and my fsb is only 154 and i cant post that eather i hope it helps is some small way to solve this publishing delema:)

I have a few scores that were nowhere near max cpu or fsb speeds that couldn't be published... and it wasn't at 2222 timings..... I have published with faster ram timings than the ones that were rejected......... variance in cpu speed?
