Kinc breaks out the big stick. :toast:
Nice run and grats on the retake of first place.
:woot: :woot: :woot:
Congrats !!!! :D
That motherboard does indeed look promising !!!!
Perkam
I WANNA SEE 20K
VERY VERY nice job kinc - you SPANKED k|ngp|n's score :slapass:
Congrats :toast:
20k ain't too far off now.
Congrats on taking back the top spot :toast:
Congrats! How does it feel to be on top??? I have always wondered... but passing 20K should be on your mind, if I am not wrong :)
Congrats Kinc:toast:
Grats Kinc :) Jason told me a few hours ago. Fast board :D
I wonder if the switch from RD480 to RD580 is worth it? :D
But anyways, grats Kinc on bringing ATi to the top (For now maybe?) :)
:toast: :toast: :toast:
Contrats Marcus! Nice work!
congrats :)
those cards are flying no with the new mobo
20K.. not too far.
I think we'll see closer to 21K looking at the current card clocks. Nice job kinc :toast:
Grats!!!!!!!
Very big score on just watercooling .. excellent work.
05 is getting more cpu limited than 2001 nowadays :D Joking aside the difference in frame rates between games 1/2 and 3 is getting slightly ridiculous ! :)
Conroe is going to do very well indeed you have to think ....
Looking forward to the LN2 results Kinc.
Regards
Andy
Congrats. Sweet score.
Where is link. Link die
Nice job. I was waiting for this. Kingpin has said he will get a CF x1900xtx setup if any one ever beats his old 3d05 record. I guess it's time for that?
Great Marcus.
Very Very Congratz.!:woot:
Kinc, keep 'em coming :)
http://www.muropaketti.com/3dmark/r580/3dm05.png
Congrats, no doubt...
hey don't occupy 9 out of 10 spots from the 1st page,
leave one for me:D
Links dead? And Kingpin on nr 1 again? If i go and look in the orb I don't see Macci's, Kinc's score?
same here. I think FM is removing scores becouse the RD580 hasnt been lounched yet.Quote:

ATI do not want any scores pubished yet. You can get em in store here so I jumped ahead to the wrong conclusion that is was ok.Quote:

Awesome! :slobber:
Kinc: Can you use ATI Tool with this board? I doesn't work here. Maybe something i've missed. :)
what were the clocks on GPUs?
The clocks really do demonstrate the power of the new motherboard over his previous RD480...
On the old mobo, with the FX-60 at 3537 and 760/890 clocks on the cf, he achieved 19,017. On the new motherboard, with the FX-60 at 3503 and 740/840 watercooled cf, he achieved ~19,400 or whatever the score was...
Perkam
and what clocks were used for the 20K?
Wow perkam, looks like RD580 kicks some major ass
Sorry for my question.. but... the X2 in the list is FX 60 or what?Quote:

LOL..phew. I was rushing to bench SLI again today. I am going to need everything I can muster to beat just kinc, let alone the FINS :toast: .Quote:

Why no 3dmark 2006 or 2003 though?
man the new GPU TUBE is killing us hehehehehe
you are super ^^y
Yep, those new gpu tubes:toast:
The bar has been set to 20ks:) ...Amazing..
If its anyone that can push the limits its you. You allready have, that SLI score is really amazing! :toast:Quote:

Me and crotale are preparing for a crossfire run with 955XE in 3dmark 06 though so my focus with FX-60 will be on 3mdark 05 :) Have to conserve the liquid nitrogen :D
Yeah you have to change the active device to the card you want to overclock. Enter setting and you'll see it :)Quote:

3DMark05 at default resolution (1024x768) is not the benchmark you want to use for comparing SLI/CF efficiency. Its 99% CPU bound w/ 3.5GHz FX60 and 750/850 clocked X1900CF. You can see that GT1 and 2 are basically the same with both SLI and CF and only the most GPU dependent GT3 shows a small difference (at lower CPU clock even that would be equal). Overclocking the cards at that point gives zero improvement. You'd need higher CPU speed to see the benefit of increased video speed.Quote:
My opinion,
i don't think this is impressive at al
actually i can say these crosfire results are bad when you compare it with the efficiency of sli..
GTX512-->9.6K
XTX--->11.5K
2*GTX512-->19.2K
2*XTX---->19.5K
oh yeah hats off for ati and crossfire they sure rule
If you want to compare them with 3DMark05 I suggest running it at (at least) 1600x1200 4AA 8AF. Even then GT1 and 2 are highly CPU bound.

omg gochin that is some sick cooling/gfx power.
Who made the vga containers? They aren't solid are they?
you stuffed it with an orange :lol:Quote:

god luck temp controlling fx60
I'll let you know when they are in stock...already reserved 3 A8R32-MVP (waiting confirmation)Quote:

The A8R32-MVP will require modding for optimal performance....all the top ocers are eager for the release of the DFI RD580, which should be the real deal.
Perkam
I'll know if they are coming in stock. They aren't in stock :(Quote:

Cards at 760/890MHz, sysmem at 250MHz. Again I had a run that froze for me at 3550+ hitting 19637 :( I have a new set of memory that Im going to try if they can go higher on this limited voltage (3.35V with mod) and stay sub 3550 where I know I can save the score. I may have time for one more try today or tomorrow, then I'm of to the states until thursday.
Has your Crossfire card 1.1ns ram?
No, the memory is really bad on my master card :(Quote:

That's what I needed to hear, thanks man :)Quote:

how did you come up with this equation? Im getting almost 14k on air with a single xtx, and 16k has also been done with a single xtx. but I sure agree with you on the lack of efficiency. 16k-19.5k is a very poor performance gain although I don't totally blame it on the GPU's. CPU is obviously at fault, although SLI is much more performance efficient then CF.Quote:

getting to 3550 w/ x16 and 250 mode seems to be target for now.
In any case, don't say you're an editor (unless you have a visa). Just say you're there for a business. Unfortunately I'm not going this time, I visited there last fall. Cool place.Quote:

congrats man, nice scores :)
ok so im lost here I thought RD580 was x1900 so why did they delete the score?
RD580 is mobo, R580 is X1900:p:Quote:

didnt know the rd580 hadn't been released yet
but personally i cant wait to see a DFI version of this
Crotale and I ran some 955 this weekend. It never worked as it should and now the cpu is almost dead. The resler core may be sensetive to high voltage and clocks. Since it has been geting weaker after each time.Quote:

Willis, that's how it goes when its Intel+ATI vs. AMD+nV.
Intel is strong in 3DM06 CPU tests while AMD runs the first two Game tests better.
1st HDR test is better for ATI and 2nd runs better with nV (for now atleast..) =)
HDR can be cheated by using LOD, and thats allowed.... - I've heard it wipes out the HDR effect from a dude that tested x1900CF..
EDIT:
Macci, can you comfirm this?
Yes, completely different plattform and different cards.Quote:

Very nice scores! Just the numbers I was expecting to get with some R580s in CF w/ a RD580 mobo. I want to see 20k fall this weekend! :woot:
