Huh? It's up to 1.75 depending on CPU. IIRC, it basically works out to stock +.3 between the .2 overvolt and allowing .1 without the overvolt option.

Im hoping to see a sample soon, the thing you need to look out for in the DDRSkew IC's that have been enhanced, these allow for some real high overclocks at 1T, which is much better than the A8R MVP.

I have a copy of the review but can not post it, the print review option on AT is pretty slick for capturing whole reviews at once ;)

Was 143pounds in the Uk so looks to be a $200 board in the US.

I have a feeling these boards may be on sale soon, people have already bought them so any NDA would be useless once benches are up.

Hah.. Thats cool. His board has black PCB, the anandtech reveiw was the standard brown. I'd love for it to have a black PCB. That was honestly the only thing I didn't like about the board lmao. That and there overclocking results where in 2T :rolleyes:

No m8 the AT review showed the A8R MVP which is brown and the A8R 32 MVP which is black...asus moved it to deluxe so that brought on the black PCB.

Both boards were showed one of top of the other so you can compare

Yeah I copied the pic. The A8R was shown in brown just above the A8R32 which was black. So ...you should get your wish to have a black board afterall! :woot:

Looks like an Hard launch for RD580 is planned, and I hope boards are there for others too. Crossifre is still weak tho with this Mastercard thing and cable-mess.

I'm actually kinda skeptic on Asus.. the last one I had was absolute junk for overclocking (A8V Deluxe). I guess we'll see when the time comes, the review looked nice and i plan on going x1900 CF.

All PCIe lanes are from the northbridge like they should be. Also no HT lane reduction. RD580 is clearly the HT overclocking champion. This is ain't no joke of a solution like the green guys' one.

I can't go over 300 MHz HTT with this board with an X2 3800. I must have missed something. :)
I'm pretty happy so far though. The games feel "snappier", and 3dmark scores are up.

I just gotta figure out why i can't crawl over 300 MHz. :cool:

well, AT said they had to lower the htt multi to 4x just a littlebit over 300..

Yes, let's hope they spend some extra time on this RD580 board, making it great. There hasn't been much news at all about their RD580; I've just seen that picture of it and that's pretty much all I have seen, nothing useful in regards to any news or specifications...
Maybe we will know more in March ;)

you may not have the latest bios, im under NDA so i can't give it to you but there is a bios that allows for much higher overclocks

Hi,

I am having a few graphics issues with this board, when plying far cry as the computer warms up, the graphics go black and white and fuzzy, eventually I get the old blu-screen and a reset. I'm not the first person to have this problem, I'm pretty sure the 1900's are ok.......
