First X1900XTX 3700+ 3d testing.

UPDATE !!

JUst started testing my new Club-3d X1900XTX. here what i got so far. more to come:)

The x1900 isnt realy so much faster than x1800 in 3d01.

the x1800 do 386fps in nature stock clocks, and the x1900xtx do 410 stock clocks. My X1800xt score higher at 823/970 than this x1900 do at 770/918.

All watercooled with chiller and 6 degrees water:)

why am i just not impressed with what i am seeing these X1900's do ?

the 7800 GTX is still the better dollar for dollar performance winner.
only in crossfire mode does the x1900 shine and even then... :banana::banana::banana::banana: if i spent 1200-1400 for 2 cards those games better look like pre rendered CG intro's.

but anyways..

nice card, nice scores keep on pushing it.. let the card break in a while and see what she can do.

or spend the extra money and send it to ViperJohn and let him have some fun with it.

The 52C is not the GPU temps. the card was 19 degrees...watercooled with chiller:)

14k gonna be easy i think. my CPU is not maxed out at all, and the gfx still have some left in it:)

I use the one that came on the driver cd. cant get any other to install at all. i thought 6.1 was surposed to surpport the card.....but guess not.:)

no progs can reconice the driver.

Mine is running @ 71C in this hot room lol :/
I dont know but in a few games it is making the game freeze or lag..maybe the tmep is too hot or it is asoftware issue

I have not noticed that here. 71 is varm, but it should be ok:) Maybe a driver issue.

Also only thing you installed for this card is the drivers cd and you had nforce drivers and direct x 9.0 firectly from your dfi cd and thats it right

yes..that screen is 1000% normal:)

I use DX9.0c and Nforce 6.70

Think games froze cause I had everything on Performance settings for 3dm runs...once i picked quality it went away! think that was the prob?

also for max 3dm performance do oyu have ADAPTIVE AA disabled? also what about catalyst AI settings?

How are you overclocking the card? Is it similair as the X1800XT, disable the two ati services and use ATi Tool for voltage and Overclocker for clocks?

To disable services,type services.msc on run,and then select disable ATI Smart and ATI Hotkey Poller.

I found out i actely do have that freezing problem when i´m gaming fear. i can run for 5 secs, and then it lock up for 10 secs, brofre i can move again...very strange:(

The card i overklokk almost like the x1800. but i disable ati hotkey, course there IS not Ati smart with these cards:) I use Ati tool beta 12

MY GOD !!!

I con not hit 800 MHz with my X1900 XT.

Got it running @ 650-750 now @ 1.3v gpu and 2.1 v-mem.

Can u give me ur XTX Bios ? i whant to try it to get 900 mhz on the ram. I get heavy artifacts @ 775 and i'm hoping that a XTX Bios wil fix it.

Gr8 stuff, its a bit late and I've been to a party, so hope I dont get it all wrong..

Is it winXP runs?? - Or are those 01SE optimised?? - Would it be idiotic to buy'n such a card (x1900XT (not XTX, to expensive) and count on a battle for reaching 50k @ 01SE? - all tweaked up and around 3500mhz CPU / 250mhz mem (or 270mhz)

SIOUX do you have any problems running ATI Tool with W2k? ATI Tool installs fine for me and works after the install but if I restart the computer and try to run ATI Tool it gives me an error and have to uninstall/reinstall to be able to use it and this happens each time I restart.:confused: This is happening with both video cards X18/1900XT's and both ATI Tool Beta 11/12.

I had the exact same issue on W2K MTP. Luckily CF does not work on 2000 so I didn't have to mess with it too much except when I was running single a X1800 01.

No...no problem here:)

"M.beier" it was a win2k run, but not optimized OS. you will never get 50k with 3500mhz....that i can promise you:)

Thats becourse overclocker alows me to run my mem higher than ati tool in 01 (like the x1800 did for me as well) and it gives me a bigger boost in 01.

but in 05 ati tool gives me better score:) I dont have a problem using ati tool on any OS;)

but i do have problem clocking 2d mode with overclocker unfortunatly:( thats why the low core in 01

I just received an X1900 crossfire card the other day,
but was defective, the power inductor was not properly soldered
on pcb someone tried to solder it back on.
Look at pic of area im referring too.

I would also like to confirm that the X1900 CrossFire edition cards
come with BJ-12 (1.25ns samsung ram ic's not BJ-11's). ;)
The revison on pcb is an A72131-20.

Yep, both cards I received were BBATI.
The 1900 XTX I have here has the 1.1ns, kind of an bummer
I had everything ready to do some CrossFire/FX60/RDX-200
3D runs on the weekend. :)
I guess now I will be doing single card runs, till I get another
crossfire card back in my hands. :cool:

Very solid scores there Sioux. I'd like to ask something about the software support for the x1900 series. When we first tested the crossfire x1900xt and the slave x1900xtx there were no other drivers other than that on the cd and ati tray tools and ati tool beta 11 didn't recognize the cards. Only overclocker recognized it. Now I know that ati tool beta 12 gives support to these cards also. So can you give voltage to the core and memory bc we couldn't have a chance to play with the voltages whenwe have tested these cards.
