I've been playing with Radeon X1900 CrossFire Edition + Radeon X1900 XTX 512 MB. Graphics power is really good and with Athlon 64 FX-60 @ 3 GHz I hit +16k in 3DMark05 with stock graphics speeds.
Here is a score with Athlon 64 FX-60 @ 3,466 GHz and cards running @ GPU: 783 MHz and mem: 1638 MHz:

With a little more system power 19k shouldn't be too hard to beat and luckily I have a solution already on the way here! :)

Hmmm...Sampsa, I've seen ppl benching on water with 8xx/9xx on X1800XTs...with some more CPU power + some better clocks, I'm sure 19k will fall...and maybe a tad extra for the next milestone :up:

While everyone was breaking out the dry ice and cascades on their NV 512s, Macci already had the record broken on air cooled cards and with full image quality in our lab. :) And he wasn't even trying....since then the record has gone up a bit. Regardless the REAL fun will begin shortly. :devil:
By the way, an 18.6K run with full image quality and zero corruption is a sight to see!

I think the only thing standing in the way of that is Futuremark. They were very much behind the ball getting recent Catalyst Drivers recognized on the ORB when they were already mentioned as approved on their approved drivers page.Quote:

agreed. End'd up ordering a sapphire grouper/x1900xtx/xp90c. Around tax return time 4400x2 or 170 opty/RD580 and x190CF card:toast: Newegg's shipping hours are later than they used to be. Before if i wanted something shipped that day had to be at stage 4 before 4:30 or it wouldnt go out. My Radeon X1900 CrossFire edition locks up and won't post if the copper container's temperature drops below -27C. ATITool is reporting around -8C. Optimal benching temperature seems to be around -18 -> -23C (Copper container). Slave-card Radeon X1900 XTX 512 MB doesn't seem to have any problems with cold.
I'm now waiting for new RD580 motherboard, which should help me over 19k. Two PCIe x16 -buses should give some boost in GT3 and hopefully it'll work better than RDX200 CF-DR with FX-60 under DI.
