i just got wood
Omg
Wow how come the IHS's are so rough at the corners?
no SN will show and also the step..... if i want to get more ES in future
1.32v 3G can run CPU mark...
Resize that pic please.
And put up sone results.
lol
i need to use MS paint to resize....
http://premium1.uploadit.org/guess2098/fx60/0001.JPG
why 2?
nice must of cost a pretty penny or two :)
3ghz at 1.32v is pretty good news if that holds up.
1) these are DC, yes?
2) the default speed is 13x200?
3) are we to see that you go these chips to 10x300 at stock volts?
wow
3ghz and not even close to 1.4v
im impressed...
could we see some stability shots with a higher OC?
thanks
I'm guessing thats on water, but I'll hold a slight hope that its on air.
either way, thats awesome.
@eva2000 - I doubt it cost him a dime. Most unreleased ES stuff comes from good connections, not from someone trying to hawk it.
At 33deg, if it's on water, it's pretty lame water considering only 1.32v.Quote:

1.32 just CPU mark... sp2004 stable need more volt
Do ES cpus generally clock better then the ones released retail?
i've noticed every fx-60 i've seen could do 3ghz easy on low voltage
cuz bad fx60 no one wanna post it.....Quote:

DRY ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my god this is gonna get good.
We are supposed to get some 955XE DI action this weekend too!
hum-in-a-hum-in-a-hum-in-a
these are definately 0538 or later based on what I know about the ACB1E stepping (found on 275HE Opterons).
Don't even have a word for those 3Ghz at 1.35v... :slobber: :slobber:
not 0538 later! between 30~37
well they are cheaper because they arent that powerfull! :P :D :rocker:
so 3ghz is the stock speed? WOW!!!
so from fx57 to the next fx you get the usual 200mhz PLUS an extra core?
incredible! i hope this means we will see 165 and 170 opterons clock to those speeds as well anytime soon! :D

VERY NICE!! please put me on top of your waiting list if you ever decided to let go either one of the FX60 :D :D :toast: I imagine with a little bit more juice these FX60 can prime stable at 3.2~3.25Ghz under phase change, that's going to kickazz!!! :D
awesome
so what's the best you've got it to do so far, on regular cooling? You must be able to get it higher than 3ghz. Still a fecking amazing result, and you are SO lucky.
i bet he works for amd and is just showing us amazing results so we go buy these $1500 chips. :D
lol i wishQuote:

guess2098, since you got 2 of them, mind to give me one ? :D :D
Thanks for sharing this with us guess209. Would love to see what these chips can do with some phasechange cooling :) Will deff. want to get my hands on one because I wont be upgrading til 65nm M2 so I need the power to last :P
Hopefully someone will oc these chips on something colder than air/water.
Time for Mousepot ;)

His source will probably hang him if he posts weeks ;)
Denny if you pop the IHS just watch out. The new mousepots are core killaz. 7lb leans to the side... CRACK broken 1500 dollar CPU.
Nice chips....12 hours = 1500+ veiws... I guess this is going to be a popular thred!
just finished my dinner and i am like.... hummmm let's do 3.1G air since it bit cold in So-Cal

http://premium1.uploadit.org/guess2098/fx60/60_02.JPG
just found out i forgot to set it "cache" on system.... so 32M is slower than usually
Hmmm......the first pictures of the cpu, kinda looks like the IHS was removed and attached....or is it just me?
nah! i have not yet take it off, ....
I did not see that before. Sorry about that.Quote:

No need to:) Just find out how cold those monster can go;)
Awesome cpu there Guess:toast:
Anyone asking for the number deserves a swift kick in the buttocks.
Just keep us posted buddy boy.
tomorrow i will get some DI and see which one will does better heheheeee
really busy and plus i sned both my 512GTX out. more result tomorrow sry guys
Sigh , AMD once again replaces my GF from my dreams.
ahhh the sweet misery of an empty wallet. The results look GREAT btw. Keep it up Guess.
with the 81.95 drivers, that thing looks like a 3dmark record breaker. 3.1ghz on air is certainly hanging with the best of them, and it's still not too hot, so it must have more headroom?
Although from 1.35v at 3g to 1.55v at 3.1g is quite a jump. Did it need that, or were you just giving it headroom?
When will M2 socket and M2 chips be out? ~summer 2006??
What chips are they planning on the M2 anyway?
OOOOOooooh...you've drawn the attention of the great Tom Holck...he too watches with insurmoutable interest :sofa: :D
Nice !!! :slobber:

Impressive for dual cores, I can't beleive it was staying cool with 1.55V. my opty gets HOT with that kind of voltage at anything over 2900. I can't keep it under 55C even with my XP120. Looks like for the water and above guys, the new FX is going to be a monster.
Well lets hope this is a trend and not just a fluke. yes, very impressive for dual core.
i bring my Ultra-D to work today.... friday i hope no one will be there....
but bios for ultra-D Nov bios.... no good. i am still using 702-1 bios...
30min.... good enough for me!
http://premium1.uploadit.org/guess2098/fx60/0002.JPG
i am working on 1.36v sp2004 now....
i wish i can turn off the heater...
Do both of those FX60's hit these #'s, or you only tested one?
both is about the same but i am testing one nowQuote:

In a court of law with only what has been said in this thread, they could not prove these are actually FX-60s (not that there's anything wrong with having them) nor has any NDA been broken and thus they have no basis for requesting that this thread be closed.
Dual-prime stable 3GHz on 1.4V does look nice, how many other Toledos can do that, even on phase? Let's hope that a cold-bug isn't TOO rampant with these.
Wouldn't the pics at the top, with two CPU's both with the code ADAFX60 be proof enough? :D
Fair enough, they couldn't nescarrily prove they were his. But i'm sure they could trace them, that E inscribed can't just be there for fun.
It's just the way most of these manufacturers are so NDA spooked.

so what do you think this can do on a decent water setup, not interested in phase? Also to be fair 1.55v is really the limit for dual cores is it not, well for safety of not killing the core?
1.70v is possible me thinks ;) if you keep it cold and lucky, phase change and a four leaf clover anyone?Quote:

Impressive for Dual Core.
What is MSRP?
I cant believe it, i have FX-60 too, and my highest OC is only 2850MHz@1.45V! I cant reach 2900Mhz at any voltage!
And my CPUz and BIOS on DFI Expert know this CPU like FX-60, not "Unknown processor"
pics?Quote:

Please dont ask pics, i agreed with NDA, an dead line is 10.1.2006.
Another thing, what ram are you running with. Seem like eXpert is quite pickey about the ram. Not sure it's related but could be?Quote:

thats TCCD??
i thought the expert wasnt very good with TCCD, or was that the ati board??
set a divider and test if you can higher
