for a few week's i'm playing with my x800XL and this is the best i got so far

first i was playing with tec 80W on that gpu and got 400@495 with a score of 6565 got mad and connected the K-2 :slapass:

yeah, nice... but that's not REALLY an X800Xl, it's one of the newer ones with the X850 cores... the r480. The original X800XL is a r430 core which clocks MUCH worse than the r423 or the r480! My r430 went about 525 mHz core on DI @ -55C with a Vmod.
Of course I COULD be wrong... does it have a separate power connector?
Very nice, close to my old scores...I had 7,379 in '05 and 16,134 in '03 with my old rig...3.4E @ 4GHz and my X800XT-PE @ 675/640...single rad h2O with cpu and x800 in series in the loop...regular ambient temps. Made it up to 702MHz with that X800XT-PE on h2O with some voltmods, frick that was fun. :cool:

very good..I am 5th in the orb with about 6600 points at about 520mhz of core at about 1.6v..I was under water-cooling..next week I will try to do better..with what cooling you do this score?

with TEC 80W i got at best -2 in core winter in israel now 9-13 deg at night (not much for OC) so we need to think for creative solution's for OC here :toast:
