Dont look at me to flash it, lol.. Ive done enough beta testing for DFI these days.
Not sure what the dividers were on the 510-2fix but this new one consist of 100-120-133-140-150-166-180-200. Prolly the same just never noticed.
Also no problems booting up at 300htt 1:1 with TCCD chips.

What is a rev E CPU? :confused: A CPU with E* stepping? Wouldnt that be all 939 cpus?

Well there is not much to say my stability increased in a way that i need less volts for the same overclock and my bh-5 go 2mhz higher :) i tested with sp2004.Quote:

All they added was detection code for FX60, the new beta is probably just 623 with this code added.
I have 704-2 for the eXpert now also, voltages are specifically for the eXpert but its built off my 706 build i got off Oskar for the older NF4 models.
Im tweaking it now, then testing it, then i will release it.
maybe for expert bios naming convention change to x704-2 to denote expert so not to confuse with dfi nf4 in discussions ?

704-2 Was built off 316 which was a ground up build. It brings the yellow slots into play and is as good or better than any other build. I tweaked it to be more boot friendly as so many were having issues getting a boot from cold with a new board. It also when tweaked correctly allows for some fine overclocking and those who want the higher vcore options before are now finding they are hitting the higher clocks with less voltage.
I have called the expert bios E704-2BT.BIN, E being expert. I will release it soon as i have a feeling most will like this build.
It is dated 18/11, remember though it has 706 memory tables but the expert voltage options etc.
U know why the 704 have this vcore-bug and u can fix it? I would love to see teh BTA with vcore above 113%, then in the coming winter time i must change to 510-2 hellfire, bcs. of the higher vcore options, then i can max out my cpu. ;)

i'm running 704-2BTA on my lp ut sli-dr with X2 3800+ and 2GB ballistix Z503 (in orange slots). is this the best bios for this configuration? will the mem run better in the yellow slots?

anyone else using this bios and your optie isnt being reconised correctly on boot up? ive tried 3 differnt bioses and this new one and still no luck :(

I'm using it with a opty 148, no problems...
Perc, I had a beta CPUZ 1.31 and a outdated MaxTcase that gave me the same problems as you with my 175. I re-downloaded both from their respective sites to ensure the latest version and the problems went away.
yeah i cant for the life of me get my bios (no mater what one i use 704-2bt 704-2bta and the latest 11/14 bios) to reconise my cpu as a optie 180 its showing up as a 280 on boot up and as a optie 280 940 pin in cpu-z.... kinda wierd but not effecting performance so screw it i gues.. im getting the expert series anyways so ill just live with it til then...
