Team 2GB set and a monster toy PC P&C 1kw match up

well , here is what I would like to share with you guys,
before I start, I don't want you guys take a wrong way.
I am not rep of this company, just nowI need some 2gb for play some game or do AV convert action
with my school prject, and that's what I bought from Taiwan.
This company is well-known in Taiwan, but I don't think their product is available in USA,
Well , as I know they will have new spec. later instead of I had, so I just grey out that.
(they will have 2.5-3-3-7 instead od CL3; actually, they are really capable of doing that.)

Again, below the super pi 1.4 test is merely stability test. if you wanna know the performance in real life,
you might just need to test by yourself.

1.DDR510 cl2.5-3-3-6-7-0 in the miidle of running super pi 8m, yes 0 ICL, other timings are not worse than some tccd timing

As far as I know, there are two kinds of Team Xtreem 2GB sets, one with UCCC and one with Micron. I am 95% sure those are Micron ;)

I have one of the best UCCC + BP PCB and can bench 32m 281 3-4-4-8-7-0
But no way cl2.5-3-3-6-7-0 over 245mhz and even not with TWR2 TWTR2 TRTW2 ,3-2-3 If I go with 2-2-2 crash under 240mgh@cl2.5 .These chips can be Micron or some very lucky Infenions ,or some other brand is starting producing 1gb multichips

Well, if i speak about Team Xtreem using Micron ICs, is because i have read it in these forums. People said these to be a cheap competitor to Ballistix, and here is an URL from an e-shop supporting this theory.

From that last photo i can notice very poor (if any) contact between ICs and heatspreader =/

actually it makes good contact. they use those gray thick thermal pads

If u take a look in Team's website u'll find the same ram OPB used here, SN: TXDR2048M500HC3DC . But in the website it says they're UCCC and 3-4-4-8, here:

Anyway, to get the most clocks out of these you really need to loosen trc, trfc and trtw. Does hell to your PI speeds though.

OPB the ballistix you sent me, does 244@2.5-2-2 in nf2, i have to give them a run in nf4... so, with the same chips, why not try it? :D

Those Xtreem are doing so well (a bit worse than ballistix?) , but that... 1kw PC P&C.. puff, you are so cruel showing it...

Lets see the 2x1gb table and try some bios tweakings... the top is full of ballistix, maybe you can gain some more mhz :rolleyes:

I think those sticks are "very" cheap, arent they? if im not wrong, in Germany sell them..

I'm really in trouble, i need 2x1GB and don't know which ram to buy, there are many options available here:
- G-Skill 2GBZX
- G-Skill 2GBHX
- OCZ PC4000EB
- Crucial Ballistix Z503
- TEAM Xtreem Micron

I am not considering UCCC options, i hate those fours in the timings =/

It would be nice that someone updated the 2x1GB OC Ranking, it would help me to make up my mind.

who knows? ;) i really wish they made a high density varient of the 5b G that went into the 512mb ballistix of old.. if you got a good stick, that stuff simply rocked. i'm pretty sure micron stopped producing it though, presumably in the switch to ddr-2

either way, it's just a picture for reference, because all TSOP micron i've ever seen has those little "bites" out of the corner. saly, the FBGA micron doesn't seem too distinctive :(

nope, the rails are awesome, and it's improved that the issue whe you set the jumper 17 to 2-3! :banana: You don't have to do the EMC2 tricks(much appreciate the great EEr) like 850ssi does.

Nope. I was using my special winbond BH UTT(look at that trfc;)) since it can do this on ultra-D, I don't think that would just kill my cpu without even boot into bios.;)

ooooh, 11 is curious. i thought my BH-UTT was a bit weird when trcf 13 was best for it. very nice ;)
however, the clocks you're getting is even better, i've been trying like crazy to get over 243mhz with 3.2v :p:

very nice, ive heard that BE-5 is really random when it comes to yeilds, say one set will do 210, and another will do 260 (not sure where i heard this...its too damn early for anything complex i could be blowing smoke out of my ass)

do you have any suspicions on what the next 2 sets are going to be? CE-6 maybe, and some other ic?
