I have no idea why I got my best time with SP2004 running :stick:

My DI keps chunking up and temps skyrocketed :( I have to keep the "pool" visable and make sure all is well at the base. I guess powered DIce isn't good. Saw -60C loaded at 3600mhz. Overall I'm happy :D I spent a lot of time fighting with this damned DFI board and it not giving me video. With more time I could have gotten 3500mhz 3d stable and 3550 8m I bet. With ln2 I'd see 3700mhz? 240C is my optimal no cold bug temp in windows.

Thanks guys :) BTW, this was done in win 2k with ricky tweak. I booted XP pro, set diagnostics mode, and it never fully loaded again :( So I had to use my 2k partition.

NickS: I've had the WR this whole time AFAIK unless you think suicide shots count as WRs. In that case some guy with a prommie has it.

Ozzimark:I cold bugged until 240C in smart guardian (-15C BIOS I think?) which is why I used to run SP2004 to load the CPU and raise temps (you can see it in my 23.1s shot) but I found out later on that it wasn't needed as the chip got warm enough in windows using higher vcore.

hahaha, all right. thanks. i read somewhere that the cold bug can be effected by the drive strength. perhaps play with it, though it would probably mean getting more cpu mhz at the expense of ram clocks if you got anywhere with it

Install win2003 and you'll see 22's much easier than with XP ;)

Nice run afireinside. I stil say u should give dbench a try @ that speed. Would probably be under 100. Back on topic, Try these settings, they may help u get into 22's. Read preamble: 5.5, Max async latency: 7, TRFC: 12 and idle cycle limit: 0.

Hmmm...interesting....I just noticed your tweaker shot and your trtw @ 1. I've tried that setting and can't get it to stick >250Mhz and I've been told that Oskar has made sure that the setting won't work >250 as it may corrupt your memory. This is what I run my Twinmos BH5's @. Of course you would have to use a couple of different settings due to ch-5 and the opties (eg. trfc14, and mal/rp @ higher than normal :p: )

CABNE is one hell good stepping from my ex-0528 GPMW I can tell, but CABNE and CAB2E are with really really bad cold-bug problem when you let them cold enough even just little amount of DI. mine 0528gpmwwas died under -40c...:(

Would have ran it if I had the ice ;) I must have spent an hour pulling cords and stuff trying to make it work. My DFI board decided to start POSTing with no video every 5 minutes. I hope to run it again next weekend with a new win XP setup that actually works and do a 3.5ghz 32m run (keeping the DI right will be a real pain for 20 minutes though lol) and a 3.55 8m. After that it's onwards to 40k 3d01!

I'd use server 2k3 but I don't have a copy ;) And as for the rams, those were the tighest timings I could get to run. Errors all over in mem test (160 first loop then it gets out of hand second loop) but they're 32m stable up to 260 and I haven't tried more. 1m @ 265 I know but that's it.

Maybe with a copper tube, SP2004, 2V, and some other trickery I can hit the magic 3640mhz that will put my ram at it's ideal 260mhz :D 1.9v is already a lot of heat for this poor aluminum tube. If my temps go up 2C idling after 1m at 3600mhz it hangs. I doubt I could even SS 3625.

I'm not running Dbench on dry ice. That's the dumbest thing I could run.

Idle cycle 0 = crazy errors in mem test
TRFC 12 = doesn't run on UTT
async 7 and preamble 5.5 = don't run on opteron. I need 8 async 7 preamble set in BIOS to break 3050mhz.
