GO GEIL GO :woot:
Burn this baby :toast:
Beautiful results. Is this retail ram or Cherry picked?
Nice results, anything 32M stable yet?
Got a tweaker shot? :D
Yes Vapor i installed My Mach II GT, you have the a64tweaker shot a 32mb superpi shot....
luigi
very nice sticks !!!
did you get these from Italy, gigi ?
Very nice....310 2.5-3-3-7
Only looking for a tweaker shot to see if it's worth it to leave my 4800LA for these (they can tighten alpha timings to hell and back). No rush (too bad your FX probably can't do 12x310 under the GT....that'd be killer).
i drool
Wonderful RAMs! :D
hello Punisher!....
go UP to Frequency ram and Down Voltages....heheh it's Fight
GO FSB down Voltages.... 2.65v IMPRESSIVE GEIL

VERY nice....thanks for the Tweakers too!
I like these a lot--I'll keep my eye out for some :D
Gigi i c ur doing some serious overclocking on the ram again.. Looks very very good. But im waiting for more m8. Good luck with ur tccd's
Regards
we'll see Vapor....Geil are nice ram...but 4800 LA still have to say something...Quote:

These are 512MB double sided sticks. Single sided 256MB sticks can go 320MHz easy. I'd say these sticks are pretty good.Quote:

These do pose some competition though....maybe I'll be able to bench my sticks soon and see if it's worth it to sell mine and get these (if they consistantly do this--seems new TCCD does like 2.5-3-3).
by new TCCD you mean TCC5 right?
Dragon
GIGI77 we want to see 330Mhz@2.5-3-3-6 1m stable
That would be amazing :o
For GEIL ONE Only Samsung TCCD new for 05xx IC inside
luigi
No...new TCCD ;)Quote:

32M stable at that level is sweet. :slobber:
Thats sic. What timings are they rated at (PC4800/DDR300)?
Those timings with those volts and that freq: harshly binned TCCD or you have the lucky set.
More LDT voltage = more memory overclock? Could it be that LDT voltage goes to the on-die mem controller.. New setting for me to mess with.
EDIT: Thanks Kasparz \/ \/

That 32M run is just awesome!
Great ram you have there gigi77. :toast:
Gigi77, OPB passes 32M at 316x10 2,5-3-3-x with his FF, can you top that?
Very nice RAM you got there mister!
i think.....
awesome... i might be thinking to get a set of those .... for ~$200 u can't go wrong
great ram
Gigi your killing me here,
i got my Geil one to DDR600 2.5-3-3-5 (32M stable) and thought that was all they had. looks like ill have to have another go with them after ive finished this run of 3D with my new 7800GTX.
i know mine can do 311 2.5-3-3-0 4M stable. ill post back.
targ
that 311 @ 2.5-3-3-6 looks very good gigi... Hope you can top OPB's 316 tho ;)
Regards
What is the part number of these? Same GOS1GB3200DC only with 05xx ICs? Is it written somewhere where I can read it without taking off heatpsreaders?Quote:

@Gigi77,
Can you answer my question from post #33, please? Also, are you one of the GeiL Powerusers?
Thank you! :)
Mine don't run that fast!
Yes i'am the first Power User GEIL.Quote:

Wow!!
You actually did it!
I was drooling over OPB's 316 2,5-3-3-x result and now you are topping it!!
Congrats mister! :toast:
Do you have a fan over the RAM?
thanks my friend!
Congrats at all peoples and users Geil in the world !
Show spi1m speed too..

coz i wanna know also the answer i'm wondering if only power users getting those lucky tight rams timings/frequency
Congrats on the new WR!
This kind of makes me wish I had purchased these instead of my FFs. But I doubt the retail versions (non poweruser/ES kits) of these can do 2.5-3-3-7 at 300+MHz.
Nice results gigi. Whats the highest 32mb anyones ever gotten 2-2-2-5?? Maybe 280?
Congrats man! :DQuote:

I've still got the "good" set, been trying to get 310MHz@2.5-3-3 32M stable this morning but ran out of time and had to go to work (damn bills!). I know it does 305MHz though.
I don't know how indicative they are of "normal" retail sets though.
congrats gigi....
stay tuned guys.....we have another italian WR killer.....but is quite shy and still waiting for account convalidation...
thanks my friends
luigi
Good work Gigi :)
congrats
Very nice memory you got there. I hope mine could also do above 300mhz at these timings :woot:
thanks ozan!
i just got a geil 1 set 2X512mb TCCD ...i can;t seems to run ddr600 at the default timings 2.5 4 4 7...it gives me errors on mem test 8 ...wonder y ....any 1 can help ?? i hving a dfi sli d board...bios 510-3
I have the 2x 256 MB Geil One TCCD set. At 312 MHz I can't do any timing tighter than 3-4-4-8. So yours sound normal.
Try and play around with the voltage a bit..Quote:

TCCD don't need any burn in, chances are the sticks will do even less MHz after burn in, especially at high volts. :nono:
Why should they clock less high if you burn them in??? Burn in is like, heavy usage... you're saying that when you use them in heavy load they clock less high, after a while, than when they're fresh out of the retail pack... Besides, when you're using under 3.0V with tccds + active cooling, I don't really see the chance of wearing them out
If you want it that way, see for yourself...

Play with your bios settings. Let me tell you how I manage to take my geil one ram from 275 mhz up to 300 mhz with 2.5-3-3-6 timings. I use 702-3 bios and here are my timings :Quote:

You can set trc to 9-12 and trfx to 14-15, trrd:2, trp-twr-twtr-trtw:2

Nice result OZAN,
i'am ready to 320mhz......
Ooooh nice, we're ready too.. :DQuote:

Can u plz tell me wich bios did u used for this runs, or any other Geil One user? :)
A friend have this sticks wth an FX57 an stuck on 293MHz 2.5-3-3-7, one MHz more and i gives a reboot after Bios-Screen? Memtest works fine with 293MHz!
@gravedigga,
Geil One S for users reached 290-295Mhz 2,5.3.3.5, 300 2.5-4-3-5, bios 510-3 or 623-3
luigi
Ok thx, we will try.
hi,
iam the "friend" :P
with bios 510-3 an these settings i have "my" 10x300FSB 1:1
DFI Ultra-D Bios:
2,5-3-7-3-7-14-3-2-2-3-3072-auto-enabled-decrease Skew-255-level7-level2-8,0-normal-5,0-256-disable-16x-7x-disable
so memtest runs from 2,5vdimm to 2,9vdimm with no errors (just 10 loops)
i can boot to windows from 2,5vdimm to 2,9vdimm.
but whatever i do....SuperPi wont finish 1M....not exakt blah blah.
(Prime also stops at a few minutes)
anyone some "tips" ? :(
Did you try to raise Vcore?
What is your LDT at?, set it manually to 3 in bios.
Try messing with read preamble/max async latency, this made a difference for me.
What DRAM response time are you using in bios, try to put it one step lower like from "faster" to "fast" or from "fast" to "normal".
yep, vcore 1,6v LDT was 4 sure 3 ;)
my cpu runs with 1,44 primestable @ 3000mhz
for testing i used only 9x300 to be sure the cpu is not the problem.
response time i have "normal"....
2,5-4-3-7 and super pi and prime runs :(
how can i become the little "3"
@CRF250
Try Drive Strength - 8. Data Strength - 1, Preamble -5.5ns
Maybe even trtw - 2 and remove skew, see if it helps at all.

gigi, i want to have your great rams, now :)
My Geil ONE S 1024MB kit tops out at 308 2,5 4 3 7
Drive strength 7 (guys, test everthing from 5 to 8) / Data strength 1
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...id=39231&stc=1
2,5 3 3 6 is memteststable, but not stable enough for prime or sp.
Using my ocz 4800 platinum kit (TCCD too, no version printed onto the sticker) with the same system 264Mhz 2,5 4 3 7 is the highest stable memoryclock.
Thx Geil.
My Friends,
Geil One S is Perfect ram for price and perfomances :)
300 2.5-4-3-5 is normally run for this ram.
