this thread is worthless without PICS!!!! :p: :D
Pics?
And your sig says you have an x800pro at 760/620? What cooling? 3dmark?
Don't make him that busy, he probably gonna be excited all day long.:D
initial run 8888 3DMark05 all stock - in the middle of editiing bios to get clocks up and ready for some serious benching...none of the standard OC tools work right now.
The mastercard did 600/650 stock out of the box and should be eventually be good match for my 760/700 slave card...

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1119634 was the all air benhc, and close to 8k with FX @ 3.7GHZ on the peltier run. Can't find the link right now - have to look for it.
EDI: thanks gautam - you posted while I was looking for links
dang nice! :slobber: do you have a reference board or something? or is the P5WD2 crossfire ready?
glad to see you back and doing your thing :)
Wow :slobber:
sick card! Mine hardly does 700 at -40C :( You could have broken 41k in 3d01 I bet...
Thanks - been going thru some bad times presonal and business wise - but finally having some fun again!Quote:

was actually only on 12 pipes PCIE - version - never spent too much time in 01 - not sure. My X850 PE is quite a bit better...especially with 16pipes...Quote:

Rabit 1.7 worked for bios :-) - will post scores later tonight
BTW tried Crossfire on a DFI NF4 but was no go - knew it was a long shot - but too bad
Hahaah I´ve tried it too, and also tried SLI in a Crossfire motherboard. You never know when you get a world class surprise :stick:Quote:

Only been able to get the bios clocks up to 600 core / 649 memory and air cooling, and cpu on dice. CF is very promising!

whoa.. nice scores for cards on air :toast:
Thats is actually a really nice score there!
/Grau
glad to see it works
12k damn!!! I want to see 2*X1800XT's now!!! lol
*cough* x800gto2
I agree that they are too late on them - but for anyone who bought one in the last 3-5months the mastercard will only be around $249 ( with the $100 ecoupon from ATI ) so not too too bad.Quote:

Well this is good news. I just have one question: does the master card have to be in a specific slot for crossfire to work?
well, My X850 Crossfire card should be here today...
Mainly posting to follow this thread :toast:
rabit 1.7 is able to edit the mem timings but other than that i think it's time to bust out the hex editor :-/Quote:

This could potentially been restricting somewhat. I did not look into it yet.
that wont make any diff the 4x i mean...
dragon
4x wont make a difference? I reckon it would.. but 8x would be a minimal difference..Quote:

16x / 16x ? Would that be possible?Quote:

Perkam
^^^ what he meant was...
2x 16 lanes
don't think so that still only has one chipset isn't the sli 16x chipset 2?Quote:

sli expert is the normal NF4 chipset so singelcrad = 16lanes and sli=8lans pro card.
ps: expert is the same as the sli-dr only other layout ;)
well, this is my best score yet with My X850XT Crossfire on P5wd2.. and yes, the cpu is still running on AIR..
I am still running stock speeds on the 2 cards..

nice ,that crossfire is working .but the scores dont seem right . i get over 9000 with just one 7800gtx goldensample standard clocks and cpu 4,7 . so investing in 2 new cards is not really worth it .wouldnt mind seeing to x1800xt though .
the X850XT crossfires will be about the same as 2 6800 Ultra's in SLI.Quote:

yea but nvidia and sli on p5wd2 is a nogo at the moment . :(
Don't worry, somebody will come along and hack a Bios to make it work :toast: :p:Quote:
